This might look a bit confusing but this is the easiest way to solve any consistent miss strikes with a putter 😅

And before you tell me to ‘just learn how to hit the middle normally’ take a look at brooks keopkas putting action

He aligns his putts out of the toe to enable him to hit the middle
.
He has mentioned before that he has tried to teach himself to hit the middle when aligning from the centre but he just can’t do it so he went back to aligning from the toe
.
I actually do the opposite thing to this where I re route my putter head to the inside causing me to hit the toe and not too long ago I hit 100 putts with spray on the face and every single one was from the exact same spot
.
So I marked how far off the centre they were hitting and then marked the top line with sharpie the same distance but to the heel side of the centre line
.
So now when I align my putter out of the heel on the sharpie line one route hitting the centre of the face
.
I have been putting the same way for 20 years and it is one of my strengths to my game so it’s not something I like to mess around with too much. It’s also the reason why I like this putter so much is because the face and grooves are really wide on it and accommodates a toe strike better than other smaller heads
.
It seems to be working well so far and seems to do the job for brooks so it’s something I’ll be sticking with for the foreseeable future!

I did the same thing on my driver. Now I find The Sweet spot damn near every time thank you. I will have to do this with the putter now
Been using this technique for years. Center of the club face of my putter was way too hot. Move the center set up to the inside line on my putter and it works great

I’m no guru but it’s the swing, not the putter. It does not apply to everyone. It’s only a check whether you are hitting at the center of the putter or not. One putt does not determine your tendency. Hit multiple putts aligning the ball with the marker of the putter to find out your tendency. Either you correct your swing or adjust the alignment. I suggest the former because the latter will eventually catch up with you on the mental aspect of it and begin to doubt the entire thing and boom, more problems to address.
