After testing every top game improvement driver of 2025 in Part 1, my dad (an 18 handicap) finally chose his favorite. In this video, we narrow it down to the Cobra Darkspeed Max K, TaylorMade Qi35 Max, and Titleist GT2 — and add in fan favorites like the Wilson Dynapwr Max, Kirkland Signature, and the Tour Edge E725 (though that one didn’t go as planned…).
We’re dialing in the perfect shaft and settings to find the ideal driver to gift my dad — one that gives him more distance, forgiveness, and confidence off the tee.
🏌️♂️ Whether you’re a mid or high handicap golfer looking for your next driver, or just love watching real golfers test new clubs with real feedback, this one’s for you.

Lost the bet thought Taylormade would be the winner. Always thought Titleist were the stingiest clubs. Proves a good fitter makes for a good time. Pikachu FTW!
The Titleist is so clean looking
Great video. Glad to see someone of my skill level get fitted. 👍
Great stuff!
Great content, keep creating!
Great choice. I’ve gone between Titleist and Taylormade drivers many times. My latest switch was from the TSR2 to the Qi35 LS. Can’t go wrong with either brand. Hope your pops kills it on the course!
Awesome video. Great time with your dad while demonstrating the art and science of a driver fitting! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to my next driver journey.
"Courses are fun to play, when you don't get to play them often." I couldn't agree more. I thought the funniest thing he said was to bring the plastic bay tee to the course. I thought about doing that myself when I had a fitting 😂
Great session. Love the banter with your dad!
Great job having your dad hitting shot so us older people can see how they work for slower club speeds. Love the way you explain the difference in the club heads and shafts.
Yes! Your dad is an awesome guest, and I can really understand from his side what we mortal golfers feel.
Amazing! Your dad an I finish with the same driver fitting result! I bet he will enjoy it!
Pikachu!
Enjoyed the 2nd video more focus on the comparison between the original Ping driver and the new driver would have been interesting. I hope your father is doing well.
To much front to back dispersion with the titleist. That's worse then the cobra with one to right.
It’s been great watching you working with your father to get him new clubs. Keep up the great content
Pokemon!
Please do more videos with your Dad. Love his take on things and your interactions are awesome! Hope you have a follow up on how he does with the new Titleist Driver. Well Done
Solid video, a fan from Mtl Canada. Thx for the giveaway
Charles Barkley has fixed his swing! Golf Digest has an Undercover Lesson here on youtube with him and his coach, Stan Utney. If your dad is a golf nerd at all, it's an enjoyable watch.
Great video content. Love the fittings you do for high handicap players (which is what I am). Keep it up.
I enjoyed every minutes of this clip. I wish I could have played another round of golf with my late dad.
Happy to see some love for the tour edge. They make some awesome stuff.
This is awesome! Cool that your dad is willing to come on camera! My dad would have told me to stick it lol….but he did that anyway because I was always a better golfer then he was haha. Look forward to seeing lots more content. Cheers.
Great video as usual! Actually, my favorite part was your comment of thanking him for being such a great grandfather. Love it!
I think I need to get a fitting for a new driver! Thanks for the great video!
Brad it’s great that you give your dad his driver now before he quit playing golf altogether – by the way, how’s your dad’s health Take care
Really do live the videos with your Dad! 🥰
Maybe for seniors, you could extend their session by collecting the ball & tee for them? 🤔
Cleveland Launcher XL 2 is a very good driver as well
Thanks Brandon for these 2 videos. Your dad and I are of similar ages and capabilities, so watching this fitting brought a lot of insight. I currently game 2 drivers a ping g25 and adams xtd. The ping is a bit tighter or consistent on its dispersion where the Adams is 5-10 yards longer. I suspect the shafts are the main reason behind the yardage difference as the Ping is a stock stiff shaft and in the Adams I am using a newer regular shaft (from Taylormade M2). Keep up the good work.
I also went with the G2, love the way it feels. Gotta hit it more to dial it in. So great what you do for your dad!
I would like to see a youtube channel try and do this fitting with commenters on the channel – its alot more interesting when its a higher handicapper being fitted and seeing the results really shine in the end
Great video, it proves how important it is to fitted to make this difficult game more enjoyable 😊 I hope your dad is ok with his skin cancer check 🤞🏻
Another great video guys
I hope my son appreciates me as much when he figures out all we did for him. Great video.
So glad this dropped, and on my dad's bday no less, rip. What a wonderful relationship you have.
You’re dad is a great man. I hope all is ok with his head and love watching all the vids I have watched like all your videos but never have been subscribed but just hit the button hope you have a great day
8:37 voice of God?? WTF 😂
Love this video! Thanks for the content with your Dad brings back so many wonderful memories with my Dad who passed 2020. Thanks again!
These videos are incredible! It’s great to see you helping your old man like this! I hope Charizard can burn the rest of that cancer away for him! Great content for those of us interested in the new club process! I hope it’s this thorough for all fittings like this!
Love these videos
You're Dad's unique for sure, great fit once again, hopefully I win as I have a few fitting questions for you.
Great video. Your Dad is awesome! Great personality. Glad the tests on his head went well.
I'd be very curious to see how he does out on The Fairway with his new driver, maybe you could do one of those videos.
I can confirm that a kidney stone is way more pain than child birth. How do I know this? You'll often here women say, "i'd like another child", but I've never heard a guy say "I'd like another kidney stone"
So wholesome
Tried the Kirkland driver. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.
