The question should have been “who have Arsenal signed that at the time were the best players in the world?”
Similar to Newcastle Arsneal signed players like Henry, Fabregas etc who became that but were never at the time of signing
Its the equivalent of Arsenal signing Lamine Yamal or Mbappe now which would never happen the best players in the world dont go to Arsenal, they become the best players while there then leave to bigger clubs 🤷🏾♂️
