First, there is a shift to the left to get the weight onto the left side. As the weight moves left, the rotational movement begins. During this shifting process, the rotation gradually blends in. In the lower body, tension builds up, similar to a stretched rubber band between the upper and lower body. This tension is maintained or even increases, but it never decreases.
The wrist angle remains unchanged until the hands reach the height of the right thigh. From that point, the energy built up through the tension transfers to the clubhead. The wrists release naturally—without any forced movement—allowing the stored energy to flow into the clubhead and then into the ball.
