You are so right about the overcompensating with other muscles or joints after serious injury. I was a junior Olympic athlete and tore the labrum in my hip and the surgery didn’t go well. Coming back I hand knee and ankle injuries. Plus, my hubby is an ER doc and plays in a group league made up of EMT’s, fireman, cops, and hospital staff etc. and they all agree with you that he is likely done. They thought the car crash really set it in motion. Love the channel esp all the great NFL/NCAA football content🏈
I think Scotty right now has that power to carry the tour.
Scotty getting arrested , then wearing that jumpsuit and shooting a 66 has won me over as a casual watcher.
Tiger reminds me of the Spanish general El Cid, who was mortally wounded but then tied to his horse and sent into battle as a corpse because of the power of reputation. The PGA is staying afloat by the promise of Major's day 1 Tiger standing on the first hole tee box in a red polo.
Tiger has been done! But to accurately predict him tearing the left Achilles was a sucker bet. He has been turning with all the power generating from his left foot because the right leg might as well be peg…it was only a matter of time before it happened as he ramped up the power to keep pumping it out there 300+ yards 🤷♂️
Excepting the vehicle accident, Tiger Woods has far too many injuries for an elite athlete prior to turning 50 who plays golf. It makes no f’ing sense.
Dude betting individuals in golf to win is such a losing proposition…
Why isn't anyone talking about how bad he looks? I'm not talking about his golf game. 😐🇺🇸
All those steroids are taking a toll
Convinced now tiger was on roids for a decent portion of his career, the body breakdown, susceptibility to this kind of stuff
I saw Tiger tee it up in the 89 LA Open when he was just a 14 year old junior golfer. He was like a miniature Charley carrying his own bag. The gallery around #1 was huge and everyone wanted to follow him. The course was Riviera C.C. and it was a nice sunny day to be out there. My friend Webb was playjng in that tournament and he had 2 tickets waiting for me at Will-Call. So I decided to go out there that day instead of going to Gold's Gym in Santa Monica to work out. Later in the week I was up in Topanga checking out this hippie coffee shop which had an out door gym with all kinds of free weights, pulleys, and dumb bells sitting amidst all kinds of exotic plants and palm trees. That's when I ran into the Barnbarian Brothers (Peter and David Paul twins) who were in there to get away from all the people at Golds. They were very gracious and pretty cool fellers. They spotted me on the incline bench and I worked legs with them. Afterwards I drove my VW wagon back down Topanga Canyon and had dinner on the water at Gladstones before heading back up to my place in Topanga and watched the rest of the golf tournament over the weekend from home. My legs were so sore I couldn't walk for a week.
Anyway, I'm glad I got to see Tiger at such a young age. I will always remember that weekend.
Nope. Only Tiger Woods can declare he's done. I wrote Tiger off around 2015 after his third or so back surgery. And he came back to win the Masters. He could have his leg amputated and I would not write him off.
Congrats on wedding John
I am a huge Tiger Fan, but it all went south after he blew up his family life.
Will Tiger make it to 60? ☹️ Snake bitten
So it’s ok for Rory but not for Colin? Cuz Rory hasn’t won a major in…
He got you talking about it lol
Congrats on the marriage
I've got money on Ludvig as well…
I told y’all about a week or two ago when you made the last golf episode that he was done. The man haven’t been able to walk a full golf course in years. Father Time catches up with everybody man. It’s life‼️
The most we can hope for at this point from Tiger is maybe he gives us a moment or two like Jack Nicholas’s 86 Masters or Tom Watson’s incredible run at the British Open in his sixties. Maybe just maybe, when we aren’t expecting it, he can put together one last heroic run on a Sunday…. If not, he still is Tiger Woods.
I'm going big on Sepp Straka top 10.
you're a blessing, I love your perspectives and appreciation of Tiger 'and' the NFL, congrats on your wedding and many blessings!
McHale and Akeem had low posts moves never duplicated again
Sound is tinny.
I don’t know much, but this I do. I had awful accident @ 60 broke my keg off – off below the knee. My world changed no doubt, however. In that moment I had this brain wave, I obviously knew it was bad, at that same moment a thought raced throwing my brain: there is fantasy and there is reality. I would figure this out. I did, amputation, I took off like a new rebuild. A lot of people freak out, not me I have done great, still doing great, never felt sorry for myself just keep going. If you saw me today at 75 you would not know unless I had shorts on. That being said, in my life time Tiger Woods is a legend and has done more for golf than any other player. Period..
