Ahead of the Carabao Cup Final, Liverpool and Newcastle fans went head-to-head in our brand new debate show: Don’t Take The Bait.
Reds fan Paul Machin and Toon Army supporter Matty Renton came with their biggest takes, to test who is the most likely to react. The fan that nibbles the most, loses! The loser has to do a fish-themed forfeit.
The opinions they brought to the table included:
– Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon will be Liverpool players next season
– Mo Salah is more likely to sign for Newcastle
– Eddie Howe is a better manager than Arne Slot
The two football YouTubers also debate: trophies, Champions League, top four, the title race, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Anfield, St James’ Park, Premier League and tactics.

Matty's on camera persona has improved significantly over the years. I remember watching him years ago and I always thought he was decent, but his content and presence just wasn't quite right. Now he has it spot on and is doing really well.
I've always thought there is a gap in the market for a famous Newcastle fan, but I was never sure who it should be. It definitely needs to be Matty.
