  1. I feel like with the new irons your gapage is better; you may not see the distance you want, but its less demanding to have to choke down a 6 or swing hard on a 7.

  2. Get something that gets your peak height higher with that 5i and 4i and you're chillin. As long as you can still hit some knockdowns you're right where you need to be with a few tweaks

  3. First of all, are the lofts the same between the sets? Lot of vids online now have completely shattered the distance difference myth by actually comparing distances of clubs with equal lofts, as well as have revealed the lack of a difference in forgiveness. The main difference is feel. Also, you’re hitting into dense, moist air after a rain storm, the ball is not going to fly as far if you were comparing to numbers on a more clear day, especially on the longer shots. Blades for life!

  4. Blades are weaker lofted, so yes, they go shorter. What you lack in distance you gain in control and shape (assuming the player has a good swing and technique)

  5. Blades PW-7, CB’s 6-4 works great for me. Gives you the control with your scoring clubs without sacrificing distance

  6. Only reason I see getting into a blade is if you have shot shaping ability. I can’t imagine I’d take more ability to shape a shot over a straighter ball … I like when I miss and it’s just a push or a little more draw.
