  1. Huh. I knew tendons don't have a good blood supply (compared to other structures) but the part you just noted, the mid portion of the calcaneus tendon, has been bothering for a while now, but I always attributed to martial arts and loads related to being a paramedic. I'll get it checked out now. Wouldn't be professional to drop a patient because it suddenly decided to break.

  2. Why do you people think the only thing this man does that involves activity is Golf. He tore it working out. Woods stays in pretty good shape still even with all the accidents. The injury happened while conducting a workout not playing golf. Geez

  3. Doc, can you please talk about Gabe Landeskog? He's given a ton of great info on his patella cartilage injury lately, and what caused it. I think it would be a fascinating look at the non-typical structures in the knee and how they interact. There's also the fact that he had a cartilage transplant, like Lonzo Ball.

I can contribute $2 to a charity of your choice. That's the best I can do.

    Ok, $4. 🙂

  4. The Achilles is the least of his injuries. This recovery should be easy compared everything else.

  5. If you looked at his medical record you would assume he was a bull rider… not a golfer.

  6. He’s basically built and self-destructed one of the greatest sports careers ever all his own doing. Undoubtedly put Golf on a pedestal that no one ever envisioned and this is a sign that maybe he should not be hobbling around on the senior tour. Just be a great ambassador and Hall of Fame golfer.

  7. Now maybe with his recovery time he can sit down with John Daly for a drink 🥃.. what could have been 3 car accidents many surgeries the minds there but body saids no .. second greatest of all time

  9. Getting injured while playing golf is like the stupidest thing I ever heard. How soft you must be to be injured on a sport that my great grandma can play?? 😂😂😂

  10. Most injuries are due to poor diet/lack of self care/pushing your limits
We got LeBron out here at his age doing work! But we know he’s juiced!

  11. He’s too powerful for his own good. It’s why he hurt his back originally. He’ll be back, hopefully on the senior tour where he doesn’t have too hit 350 yard drives to be competitive

  12. Sounds like he was doing extracurricular activities and not practicing for golf. There goes the Senior Tour eligibility…😡

  13. This sucks because I sure was looking to watching Tiger at the Masters and the other majors this year. If you've watched any of the indoor golf league he's been playing in his swing looked great and he was getting right at 180 MPH ball speed which is as fast as about anybody on tour. Now he has yet another injury setback and this probably will take him out for the entire season. I don't know what he was doing to be able to tear his achilles but whatever it was it was superfluous. You don't need to train that hard for freaking golf.

  14. Why does he continue to play in the tournaments with the top players in the world??He should play in one of the lesser field of ranked players which would give him a chance to get win 83 And the issue of not using a golf cart makes me lose respect for him.Still the GOAT!
