  1. The downfall started when all these Russian fighters started coming to the UFC. Back then you had wrestlers with solid striking which made exciting fights. For example, Frankie Edgar, Brock Lesnar, Cain Velasquez, and Jon Jones.

  2. This was the main talking point in Morning Kombat, interesting coincidence that you guys decide to feature it this week too. Also Dustin Poirier was the one who came up with the title Fight Feast for a series he wanted to do, he mentioned it in interviews before, then you guys titled your series that way too…

  3. Great content, thanks for sharing! Slightly unrelated, but I’d like to ask something: My okx wallet holds some USDT, and I have 12 words: iron observe slam major mad decorate feed photo awesome vast kitchen faint. How can I send them to Binance?

  4. Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?

  5. Contender series is killing stars…they bring people in too early and then feed them to the wolves…this is the most experienced based sport of the planet, so it takes years to the develop for the most part…I don’t think that managers really care about developing talent gradually, because representing 20 fighters is like holding 20 lottery tickets, you’re hoping that one guy hits it big and they’ll get a cut of it…so they don’t really have the fighter’s interests at their heart…you can say that losses don’t matter, but ultimately if you are 10-0 without any viral KOs, the second you lose to some gatekeeper in the UFC you lose tons of momentum, leverage, and star power…they need other promotions to build people before feeding them to the wolves…

  6. The UFC next to move away from this start line of thought to a sport. All major sports have stars the UFC dosn't act like a sport therefore struggles to "find" or "make stars" starts arn't made.

  7. What do you mean by star?

Fighter who's bout can carry a PPV? We have some of those.

A fighter who is a household name among non-fans? There have been like 4 of those in history. Most sports don't have many.

Do you mean a fighter who has a high number of fans? There are more UFC fans than ever, so yes, we have those.

    I think this is mostly a non-issue.

  8. 1:27:07 On air came out of no where with a great point… No starts right now maybe but one guy knocks out jon jones or something and this whole conversation is irrelevant..Just the nature of the business

  9. McGregor had zero title defenses. So when Rick says a long title run creates stars that’s not always the case. Conor is an enigma though.

  10. Only casuals care about this question.

If you don't like Mma enough to watch it, then just say it. This isn't wwe or a Hollywood film. It's martial arts 🥋 the best fight the best. And rn the guys with belts earned them by winning. Don't like the champion roster? Watch wwe.
