Bobby Zamora tells the story of telling Joey Barton to “take someone with him” after getting a red card in the English Premier League match between QPR and Manchester City in 2012. Barton was red carded for elbowing Carlos Tevez and Zamora had told him to take a player with him which Barton misinterepted as injuring someone. Barton then knees Sergio Aguero. QPR would go on to lose the match 3-2 in what was the title clinching match for Manchester City thanks to the iconic Aguero goal. #shorts #football #soccer #premierleague #epl #qpr #mancity #aguero #sports

Most blatantly fixed match in football history

That nasty player for sure . But I like what he did again city players 😂😂
More acting than a sport it seems
Can't leave room for error with Joey. He was a psycho so he only heard what he wanted to hear. 😂😂
Say what you want about Barton he weren’t a shit house he would genuinely have a tear up with anyone not like most modern players who give it big one and then melt and talk
That was just a normal day for Barton

Thing with Joey is he was about it. He'd have thrived in the 70's game.
Even as a United fan, I liked Bartons energy 😂

Fixed, got sent off on purpose to help city. Can’t believe this wasn’t mentioned
At the time, I fancied Barton was throwing the game in.
