Is this Swiss golf course the most scenic in the world?
Blaire McKeithen of AmateurGolf.com finds golf in Switzerland to his liking, as he competes on the Challenge Tour, part of the DP World Tour. Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre is said to be the best course in Switzerland. At 1500 meters in elevation, the course is built on a plateau in the Rhône valley. The host course of the Omega European Masters presents players with jaw-dropping views of the highest peaks, from the Matterhorn to Mont-Blanc. In this majestic setting, golf pioneers built the first course in 1906. It’s also where short game wizard Seve Ballesteros found a way to get up and down from one of the most impossible positions of his career to win the European Masters in the early 1990s. Blaire shows you every tee shot and walks you to the plaque, marking the location of Seve’s amazing feat. AmateurGolf.com offered players a chance to compete virtually in a qualifying tournament using @Foresight_Sports technology, with two lucky players winning entries to compete in the European Masters Pro-Am. Blaire is striping his @callawaygolf driver using a #Fujikura Ventus shaft.
