  1. Wear a cage and a neck guard, it's nobody's fault that you're too stupid to wear the proper safety equipment. It's honestly Delay of Game. Dude looks like a moron.

  2. When puck hit the back board, it sounded like a thunder, imagine what damage it can do to your face, It's insane that NHL players doesn't wear face protection like college player do, that's why some of them look like alien when they smile, and you'll know what I mean.

  3. since when did the NHL start blowing the whistle for injuries, get up and skate to the bench, this isnt soccer.

  4. Most people just don't realize how painful a puck hitting you anywhere on your body is at virtually any speed. That had some pace and was in the mouth. I'd be done with hockey after that, lol. Ouch.

  5. Grade A example as to why I will never just wear a visor when my league allows it, even though a bunch of people on my team wear them. Bubble all day. Just isn't worth it. But when the stakes are as high as they are for these guys, completely understandable why they want great vision of the ice. Bubbles fog up, cages blow. What other choice do they have?

  6. puck hitting the bones, the pain could be like "poff" and you go like bam, smack down on the ice. which is exactly what happened here so i guess im correct.

  7. Brenden Dillon threw a late hit that gave a player a concussion like he did last season before the season even started

  8. The DoPS need to get their act together… too many players getting injured even before season start

  9. I took a puck right between the eyes, had two black eyes for 6 weeks. Its hard to react when it comes direct toward your face.

  10. Weak players nowadays sigh. Can’t take a puck to the face, stop playing the game wimp.

This is a joke directed towards the idiots that always complain about the NHL being soft nowadays. Hope he’s ok

  11. I’m just impressed with the athletic trainer running pretty quickly on ice and being so sure-footed. Usually you see them slow/sliding or being brought out by a player but he just ran 😂

  12. The fact that the NHL have banned cages which would prevent exactly what just happened tells you all you need to know about the NHL view on "player safety"
