Three-time BTCC champion “Flash” Gordon Shedden is back, and this time, it’s with Toyota Gazoo UK. The former Team Dynamics and Honda loyalist is racing in the BTCC in something else for the first time since 2009. I will share my opinions on this massive signing and some thoughts on what effect Gordon might have on Toyota. Remember to subscribe.

I’m not sure I agree that Matt neal form slipped back in 2014. Finishing third in 2015 was impressive considering the new car. And tbh, Neal finishing 6th didn’t reflect at all how impressive his 2016 season was. He lead the championship quite a lot, carry 75 KG of weight a lot of the time during qualifying and race 1 of that season. IMO, i actually think if he had a better finale, he would have easily been top 3, and could have been champion. I think his last weekend gets looked at as his turning point, but was certainly better than the likes of Jackson and turkington that year for me.
