Let’s test a custom built, fully dialled set of Takomo 301 MB’s! Using Dart V golf shafts from UST Mamiya, can I get better performance from the 301 MB irons than the “stock” KBS TOUR website offering. This process was very eye-opening to the quality and performance of these Takomo Golf clubs.

What is going on with the decent angle on those 7 irons? Most of the irons are totally wonky.
another banger 🥃
This might be one of your best videos yet. Maybe gives you an idea of why Takomos are so cheap.
Yep, build quality matters. It looks like the weight tolerance or shaft length is way off when he dry fit them. They should be +/- 3g, which is about 1.5 swingweight points (~2g = 1 SW point at the head). This is why they make weights to install in shafts to get everything dialed in and a guy like Bryan will trim those to get to +/- 0.2 SW points. When I build mine, if I am +/- 0.5 SW points, I am pretty happy, but I don't have all of Bryan's tools and tricks. 🙂
We need to get you into maltby doing all these tests. Having your clubs built cheap in china is never gonna be a quality move
I was thinking of getting these or avoda irons and after this I think I'll get the avoda because I am planing to use them for 10 years and the avodas will probably last longer
Great video!
Wow what a video! Temu irons brutal thanks for exposing this for all us average golfers who would never have figured this out. Incredible good job, Andrew.
Great video…. I was nervous about that when I purchased the 301 combo set, so I bought the heads only and had a builder spec them out with Axioms… great set and very consistent.
