Marking your golf balls in a certain way can help provide feedback on where you are striking the ball on the clubface. In the second Paddy’s Golf Tips video of a new series about how you can teach yourself, I explain how you can interpret that feedback to help improve your ball striking and check the lie of your clubs. In addition, I provide tips on how to avoid “skying” or “topping” your drives, as well as minimising hooks and slices with different practice swings.

Good stuff paddy keep it up
I practice and use your bunker lessons all the time with great success
I’ve heard a lot of players and coaches talk about wanting to get the right ball flight, or get the ball flight they want. What ball flight do I want? That is, how can I tell on the practice range that I’m getting the correct ball flight. Feeling puzzled about this. Also, how do I achieve the correct ball flight without an expensive launch monitor.
More simply, how can I use ball flight to make adjustments in my swing and contact to improve ball flight?
Thanks.
Mr. Harrington – well done in Tucson this past week!!
I’m a golf coach of 40 years standing many countries around the world Mr Harrington is simply a great player and has proven to be a really strong coach – ( And coaching golfers who may not have too much natural aptitude or athletic abilities is not easy ) So it’s a big well done from me
can you explain de-plane-ing?
Thanks Paddy, great advice as always!
Padraig, Another good video. When you are aligning the dot on the ball is the dot straight with the target or a little on the inside? It appears to be on the inside, but not sure if that is just the camera angle?
I'd like to see a breakdown of wedge play from about 60 to 120 yds. Basically anything that's not a pitch but also not a full swing.
Help with grip and keeping club head square at address. I tend to close it with my strong grip and it a draw hook
Love your trusted advice Sir. ❤🏌️♂️
Excellent information as usual. I would love to see you do a speed session. I know you have covered this topic but I think watching you do a session while you talk through your protocols, thoughts and feels would be great viewing.
How do we swing more and use less upper body muscles. In the past I’ve injured my elbows and wrists from muscling it too much but it’s impossible to overcome.
Here is a video for you Padraig, fix me on camera 😂 be a good 8 part series.
Thanks Paddy!
Great video as usually.
Course management and how to keep a positive attitude during a tournament, plus greenside chip, bump and run shots.
Love these videos 🙏
great lesson
Are there differant swing lenghts for differant clubs? Like I countt one for wedges, two for irons and hybrids, and three for driver swing. Do a video on that please!
Fantastic video and opening my eyes on how to improve. Would it be possible to do a video on short game, 30 yards and closer to the green. Recently I have been scooping underneath the ball or thinning it across the green, unsure on foot position etc etc. but always enjoy your videos
I would be interested in some episodes around your fitness workouts. Off season, in season and daily prep for play. Thank you for taking the time to create this channel !!
Hi Padraig, this video speaks volumes of your experience, just the fact that you can actually get your clubs fitted for how you play on grass it's so simple and brilliant. Thanks
Recently, I have been struggling to adapt my chipping landings spots from golf course to golf course and seeing how you play a different course every week on a tour professional level and being a phenomenal short game player how do you adjust to the course conditions I Don't know if it's a worth while video idea ,just putting it out there
Hi paddy I just wondering why I can't take divot but can on a practice swing 👍
yes! test off of real turf!
Hi great videos as always. Really have trouble drawing the ball. Am a natural fader. What's is your best advice. Should I aim so fair right and hope it comes back in. Is there an easy technic
Thank you, Padraig Harrington. This is one of my biggest problems. To the front or coming over the top.
Suggestion: a summary video with 3-5 drills every so often, i.e. in line with 3-5 videos so we can practice what you've taught. It's hard to remember the whole video, impossible to remember two or three videos.
Great stuff though, enjoyable and educational.
Don’t know of any place that fits you on turf let alone allows you to test clubs out if the course before purchasing. You guys have that service in the UK??
Video on stopping to fat/chunk a shot?
use a liquid chalk marker instead of a permanent marker, great video
You much practice sound really enjoyable.
