Excellent suggestion to seniors to get a driver with an increased loft. I know that there are a lot of senior drivers with a 12* loft, but I have not seen any with a 13 1/2*. My question to you is "why not raise the tee a little higher and swing more on an upswing at the ball?" Wouldn't this attain the same result? Well Done on your demonstration!

Very impressive demonstration! There is missing a tiny piece to make the contribution even more valuable: what is the ideal loft resulting in maximal distance for typical senior club head speeds 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 mph? It would be very helpful if you could add this information, thank you very much.

Why not use a 3 Wd for senior with 70 mph swing speed?
Your last shot were my numbers. 85 mph 215 yd total with my Titleist d2 910 driver set at 12 degrees.😊
Using the easiest swing method I was able to hit a 240-yard shot last Thursday. 😊 Oh and I have my driver set for 11 degrees.

For thse seeking a driver with 13.5 degree loft…. the Cobra Speedzone Extreme (2021) adjusts to 13.5 degree loft

Good video. Perhaps seniors should get a mini driver? They have more loft and a shorter shafts.
Preowned XXIO drivers can be had for around $200. Shaft is around 40 grams and the head is very light and looks very nice. Seniors will hit this 200 yards with minimum effort.
Key point to remember when increasing the loft 1.5 degrees on a 12 degree driver, increasing the loft closes the driver face slightly. Excellent video as usual.
I have a 10.5-degree driver, and I've been able to get about 200 yd of carry by taking your advice to help increase my swing speed. One additional thing that has helped me is to set the ball up a little higher on the tee. That also increases my launch angle and keeps the ball in the air a bit longer. By adding a bit of height to the ball on the tee, I've found that I also have to adjust my stance a hair to make impact closer to the center of the club face.
The PXG Gen 6 12* driver can be adjusted to 13.5*.

Not sure about this ,,i play on windy links,,so carry 2 drivers higher launch wind with,, lower 8%wind against work's well for me,, I suggest a good training exercise is to hit 5 balls on each settings and see the results,, cheers Al 😊
Custom fitted driver is the way to go, I'm almost 70 and was starting to loose distance, had a club fitting session, after trying numerous brands, settings and shafts, settled on a 2024 Cleveland Launcher XL 2 with 55 gram lightweight senior flex shaft. And 10.5 degrees, my average carry is around 225 yards. I hit a natural draw and get some run, so around 240 total.
