You start in great posture and start back really well. You’re creating space between your body and hands which is ideal. When you get to the top and transition down instead of the shaft flattening and the clubhead lowering behind you, you start pushing with the right hand. This causes the clubhead to get higher and outside your swing plane.

Feel like you’re pulling down toward the ball with the pinky finger of the right hand. This should stop the over the top move as well as force you to turn your body through the shot rather than hitting with the arms and hands.

1. Prepare to swing the club;
2. Turn the torso toward the target;
3. Swing the club.

I know it sounds out of sequence but when you do it fast it makes sense. The key move is starting to turn, before you start swinging the club.
