One of the most important keys to a powerful and consistent golf swing is a smooth transition at the top. In this lesson, I work with a student to help him develop patience at the top—just like the greatest ball strikers in history. Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and Bobby Jones all had incredible tempo, allowing them to create effortless power and precision.
If you’ve ever rushed your downswing or felt out of sync, this video is for you! Mastering the transition can be a game-changer for your ball-striking.

I still believe the swing is more like a lash…. I still believe you should your swing in the handle to a certain degree the butt handle the butt handle has to get swung and pulled into the lead left pocket if your right-handed and you will lash at the ball and out to the left

Hey, I'm in Dallas. See you soon
Does the M-swing work for left handed playing right-handed.
Chris I love what you're doing I really really do we're about the same age it's it's very interesting story at least I have the story you don't know but when I started my swing evolution it was about the same time you started posting and doing yours and it seems like in fact our past history of our game is very similar also was not very good when I was younger and then modern coaching destroyed it and I even gave up the game for a while before making an executive decision to do something about it and it was about the same time you made the decision to do so and it's interesting we have almost like symbiotic relationship I'd have epiphanies and they'd be within days of you posting new videos and they were almost the same epiphanies it was odd I have to say now that being said I'm very happy to see that your game is where it is and I cannot complain about mine either but I'm have made some observations on some things that may I think are not talked of about enough and a lot of it was in Ben's Hogan's five lessons spoken of but vaguely not enough so here you go….. You're going to stand on the left leg if you're a right person with much more weight than you are on your right side been so Hogan said everything was pretty much done at the setup and I absolutely believe he was right if the setup is done right it creates a lot of things are automatic in the swing specifically the left foot in terms the angle in which you have it set towards the target will directly impact how you rotate around that ankle or specifically around the left heel and most of the way should always stay within the back side of the heel allows for the knee and ankle to cam over to the left side without having to do a large rolling around if you don't have the left foot opened up enough second the right leg is partially bent due to more weight being set on the left side the right foot is partially balancing when the swing starts to go back to the right side You're going to stay on the left side swinging the right hip out of the way bracing to be able to open up your chest completely away from the target the next move is the move which is a slight fall towards the target as the left leg will start to corkscrewing up and camming to the outside left heel.. you are going to be hitting the ball with your back lat armpit as you pivot out to the left swing the grip to your left pocket.. the whole mechanism is a lash that is struck from behind…
I think the backswing should be thought of as a twisting and spinning back with your hands and or club head naturally as you are gaining energy on spinning it back and all good ball strikers should be going forward with getting to a supinated position so matter how far you spin it back how little or as or how much it shouldn't matter because you're going to be rotating it back forward towards a supinated position as you lash at the ball
And some of your most famous baseball players at the plate used a lashing technique

How do you sign up for the Weekend event in March? Didn't see a link anywhere
I can't see any OTT here. Looks even a touch from the inside?
Hi from the UK, really enjoying your channel.
Seen some great results after taking your advice! One issue I find is I'm slamming my right hand into my left middle finger on the downswing at times and it's getting a bit sore. Have you come across this before? Any advice would be great as I want to avoid long term damage.
Would have preferred the 'tracker" stay on to show ball flight, but as always, a superb, easy to understand & apply lesson. I have the course. Lord willing, I'll get a live lesson some day.
