These are nice grips but with ridge you will need to keep to setting on adjustable shaft positions ! Been trying jumbo max grips and so far very impressive results. Great content as usual thanks. Steve
Reminder grips were popular 40 years ago. Golf Pride had the Velvet grips back then. I would not think these would be a good ides on clubs which allow you to adjust the face angle. Maybe on irons they would work but I like s round grip so I can adjust the fsse angle as I address the ball.
At GiolfWorks they'er $15.19 a copy that's $197.47, (plus shipping) for a set of 13. Maybe after my current grips need replacement but for $200 I'll be taking a pass
I admit when Align grips came out I loved them. But now I’ve graduated to Junbomax 👍👍👍

I put one on my driver but no other clubs yet. Somewhat worried about different swings for different shots because neutral isn’t always needed, especially wedges…..great video Coach!
How do you know they are installed perfect on your clubs. Lol
I agreed with you and your surprise these were legal – clearly they are. See this Equipment rule 3 b (i) For clubs other than putters the grip must be circular in cross-section, except that a continuous, straight, slightly raised rib may be incorporated along the full length of the grip, and a slightly indented spiral is permitted on a wrapped grip or a replica of one. I thought all grips had to be circular in section. I had forgotten about the straight, slightly raised exception in the rules.
Still expensive and not really suited to clubs for which you might adjust face angle or loft.

I would be mental installing these, second guessing if I had the ridge perfectly square. Otherwise I like the advantages of having a baseline of where you are holding the club without much thought.
Does the ridge add more weight to the grip? If so, will that affect swing weight?
Again Coach, not a new idea, I had one piece ridge backed grips in the early 1960's. They were a hard rubber cork mixture and a reddish colour. Over the counter sets would have the ridge down the centre back of the grip.
