If your lookin in Indonesia for a a sick retreat location, we gotchu! Love the tips 🤙🤙
great interview Adam
Great interview! Adam's insights on turns using chicane term from racing is really interesting.
Wassup, Adam🤙🏼 Good stuff.
The ego factor is gnarly- at 60% I beat everybody. 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
Gold, this episode is just… gold! Thanks Van for keeping the bar so freaking high!
Yew 🤙
So interesting, I love the weight distribution problem which is on the front foot on a surf skate. Keep the videos !
the crack of the whip analogy with the board being the last thing to move was so on point. Eyes, head, shoulders, torso hips in that order made perfect sense. High level coaching right there.
Very good technical coaching. Just seems more relevant to pros than your average everyday surfers. We need more fundamental macro technique coaching vs microscopic analysis of every movement. But Adam’s tip about not throwing back hand too far back too soon while bottom turning is a great tip for everyone. I’m very guilty of that one 😅
Interesting interview. But you should tell your guests that this is also a podcast where listeners cannot see his hands and body gestures. 80% of his technic advise was “you put you hands like this” “you hit this part of the wave” which makes no sense without video.
great work i love what youre doing basis surf. keep it up
As a pro fighter, his top to bottom analogy broke my mind! I've been doing bottom to top and trying to generate power from the feet. Can't wait to change the chain of movement
This was great 😀😀 I now get why my surfing sucks due to my skating childhood 😂
I'm definitely going to try the paddling technique. I have a perpendicular hand all the time
