GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Golfers in Great Falls might soon experience a price increase for tee times, memberships, and cart rentals at Eagle Falls and Anaconda Hills golf courses.
The Great Falls City Commission is considering a proposal to raise golf fees for the 2025 season. This comes after a fee increase last March, which officials say is necessary to keep up with rising costs for maintenance, equipment, and operations.
If approved, green fees for an 18-hole round would see a 3% increase, translating to a $1 hike on weekdays at both Eagle Falls and Anaconda Hills. Weekend rates would also rise slightly, with cart rentals seeing a one-to-two-dollar increase.
Membership fees are also set to increase. An adult full membership at Eagle Falls would rise from $775 to $799, while Anaconda Hills would see an increase to $739. A joint pass for both courses would go from $905 to $929.
City officials emphasize that this update is essential to maintain course conditions and cover expenses.
The public will have the opportunity to voice their opinions during a hearing on March 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Civic Center before the commission makes a final decision.
