Our course is open year round with no temporary greens. Our head green keeper maintains that it does no harm, and experience over the last 20 years confirms that.
The same people who complain that golf courses take up too much land and resources and are a threat to wildlife also complain when they get replaced with housing tracts, factories and business that take up too much land and disrupt wildlife. Some people just don't like everything and those are the ones who complain the most.
This is ridiculous 30 mins been waiting a hole week for this load of crap not watching anymore of this ——–t why isn't this one for 30 minutes and its usely is on for. Nearly an hour or so 😤😠😡🤬 what a joke you are James a least the other guys make an effort matt fryer Peter Finch etc but your advertising more crap than anything p–s take this channel never watching this boring crap ever again and you should be ashamed of your self. What a load of 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎and your thumb nails are a load of 💩 to clip bate it is
Walking on a frost covered green will burn the grass, it turns yellow, so you get yellow footprints all over. Looks like James wants to go in for a hot chocolate after 9.
Big Problem with courses now is most of them are too quick to close, put temps on and compulsory winter mats but at the same time want to charge more than ever for membership fees! Will end up where people will stop joining clubs again as its not worth the £
I played on frozen greens earlier this year. 2 days later there were black footprints but after a week they had disappeared and the greens were back to normal. Nature has great powers of recovery!
Short, space saving courses ARE the future. Let’s have more of them, they are so accessible and friendly for all ages and are assets for their local communities.
I absolutely love Sunday morning coffee and The Next 100 Tour….best there is! James you smoke that qi10 ls driver, long and straight. Hope you leave it in the bag for the season. God Bless you both
I figured on just 9 from the length of the video and I understand why. I played in 32F temp years ago and had to stop after 9, not because of the greens but of me. Kudos for the attempt and yours and Chris's fortitude on the day.
Do these guys ever play in medal tournaments against equal or better competition? It seems they prefer playing golf in the shadows, i.e., hiding their games by playing scrambles.
The only thing that closes our course is lightning. It’s always in excellent condition and usually great weather. Never that cold. Loving the series as ever. Looking forward to the summer program 😊👍
I play at golf des Iles Borromées piedmont, Italy, it’s on a mountain, gets cold and frozen, no temp greens or tees. No fairway mats. No problems in summer or whenever

I can play down to 40 F if there is no wind. But I got to have my ears covered.🥶

Yeah any grass with frost when u walk on the frost it breaks the heads of the grass and you will literally see where u walk as the grass dies

Why would Bamburgh Castle have a Welsh Flag on the leaderboard when it’s in Northumberland?…
Where’s ya pals pencil bag from mate?
Chris – what trousers have you got on?
Here in VA. Corse opened but can only play after frost has melted off of greens.
Like my golf today, a lot of shots 6-12 inches from the Hole!
Another great next 100 video guy’s
Golfed yesterday, courses are open here in Tucson, AZ. — Of course not surprising as the high was in mid 80's F 🌞⛳

James you should go play the course that Gary Martin works at and have him play as a 3rd member of the team. The fans want it!

Golf courses provide much needed green spaces that produce life giving oxygen and they are wildlife sanctuaries. We need more golf courses.
What happen to the lab putter??

I felt cold just looking at the video. Well done guys.
