  1. DEEP RB class, at least athletically. Something tells me that we're gonna have a RB revival in the future because all of these guys are athletically impressive

  2. So I spoke with an NFL agent about the chances of me making the NFL… I told him that I run a 4.6 40 yard dash and that I can bench press 225 23 times… Turns out that wasn’t impressive and it wouldn’t qualify for the NFL. So I pushed and trained harder and harder everyday getting my 40 time down to a 4.39… Should I give it one more shot? I’m 25 years of age, 200 lbs 5”9 and I play runningback… if enough ppl like this I will post my journey to making the NFL whether I make it or not

  3. Treveyon Henderson has a 12 minute high school reel where he was never tackled once. It's on YT, check it out.

  4. Would be interesting to see the splits on these. 10 and 20 fly times can be better to have when looking at running backs.

  5. Who else feels like, if you dont participate in all of the drills, you don't get drafted

  6. What does the game film show?

Lots of fast rb's but are they impact rb's?

I like that the rb position is making a comeback due to the impact of Barkley and Henry on really good teams this past season.

For me there are the key things to look for on film:

#1) Initial quickness/burst…..for me this tends to be more important than top end or long speed. I like a back that hits the hole quickly and gives me that steady 3.5-5 yard edge.

#2) Balance/Lower Leg Strength……i find this to be the key to finding a consistent rb…..driving the pile forward and gaining extra yardage after initial contact.

#3) Blitz pickup…..this is such an important thing to look for on film in my view. Can the rb be on the field on every down, including obvious passing downs?

#4) Soft hands…..personally i like an all around rb that can flare out and catch the ball with ease.

#5) Open Field Agility……this is that special quality that i look for, not as critical as my top 4 but if the rb has all the top 4 tangibles, he has the chance to be a "special" rb, if he is great in the open field with great shake and agility.

I don't have track speed as a critical element for selecting a rb.

Some of the best backs in nfl history were not track fast type backs(4.15 to 4.35 in the 40)

Somewhere between 4.45 and 4.65 is fine as far as the 40 goes.

Now if they are "special" and track fast, well….😊

    Then you have Saquon Barkley….😊

    Not many of those.

  7. David Spade being a funny guy making them miss Tuten second run “Wait a minute, hold on a second
The fans are going nuts rn” idk why that whole part was hilarious to me

  8. Rich Eisen likes hearing himself talk way too much. As soon as DJ gave him the reasons the RB market is what it is, he had no retort 😂😂😂

  9. Its crazy that all season nobody said a word about tuten but he was an animal at virginia tech! Go Hokies

  10. Last year that it was the year of the RB in the NFL and college. Anybody that watched college ball knew this group was special.
