rules are rules. don't be late next time. ridiculous is you moaning about you breaking the rules and being punished. A better video would have been you saying that you broke a rule and you understand why there are rules and you won't do it again, but that wouldn't get views I guess……….
No, golf clubs need to do more to weed out handicap cheats to make it more enjoyable. The R&A have to listen to this feedback too as the handicap system is a shambles.
Being late for your tee time affects everyone after you. If everyone was late, it wouldn’t work. Maybe just get there earlier, play to the rules and respect your fellow members? She’s missing out on life lesson after life lesson and doesn’t have a clue – being selfish and inconsiderate are not attractive traits. Golf rules teach you humility, honesty, respect, accountability, acceptance, patience – and yes, being on time! I hope she learns how to enjoy playing the game with the same rules as all the other players – it’s fun.
