Srixon ZXi7, ZXi5 and ZXi4 IRONS for 2025
My favourite part of this puzzle is the addition of the tungsten weights in the ZXi5 Irons that wasn’t there last year, in the ZX5 MKII Irons.

I own a 3 yr old set of ZX… no i. Have they changed much? I love my clubs
Great content, thanks. Would like to see a comparison between the ZXi5 and the Mizuno 925 Forged.
Srixon irons have deservedly gained more traction in the market over the past several years, and I enjoyed your review. However, I wonder if you could do a Srixon VS. Honma review as their offerings are very similar, but one rarely sees reviews on Honma in the West do to lack of market penetration. But the similarities are remarkable – both have forged lines, tungsten weighting in the toe, similar lofts and come from renowned Japanese brands. As to price, while many think of the incredibly expensive gold Honma clubs, they also have irons that are slightly less expensive than Srixon. Here are equivalent models with 7-iron specs:
Srixon ZXi7 32*, seven irons for US$1,300 ————————————–Honma TW V 32*, seven irons for US$1,225
Srixon ZXi5 31*, " " " " —————————————Honma TW Vx 30* " " " "
Srixon ZXi4 28.5* " " " " ————————————–Honma TW HX 28* '" " " "
I would certainly be interested in your opinion in how these two brands compare across parameters such as feel, ball speed etc.
Can you test the zxi5 against the new p790 please?
Would love to see a zxi5 vs mizuno pro 245 comparison when you get them in
