He strokes a good ball, his putts are really yippy and clunky, but otherwise it was very impressive
I agree with your comments, I watched it twice. A golfing friend hadn't seen it and I have Youtube TV. I had heard nothing but trash talk about his game from the media and I'd never seen him play. Wow, what a surprise. I think on two holes they didn't use even one of Bryson's shots. Trump is really solid off the tee. I can now believe he won two club championships given the poise he had playing with Bryson.
Yes he is. His drives, irons – straight down the pipe. His putting looks weird but he gets it in the hole so who am I to question it? I was really impressed with his game.
I like when people hate him for made up reasons. It makes it easy to see who the NPC's are.
He is good at golf for his age. He should be. He owns how many golf courses? He has endless money his whole life for lessons. He played 285 times when he was president. That doesn't mean he doesn't cheat. There are endless stories from countless people talking about his cheating. He's also not a 2 handicap. 2 Handicaps don't putt like that, 2 Handicaps don't chunk shots from 30yds. We didn't even see his chipping which, from what I've seen, is not good. No one is saying he's not a good players, they're doubting he's as good as he says he is. He claimed to have won his senior club championship AND regular club championship last year. Sure, maybe he won the senior but if he won the regular, it was in the D flight. He's not winning a regular club championship with 200yd drives. You two are talking crap about the media but Trump is the one who brags about himself non stop and about his golf game. Guess what, when you act like that, people are gonna look into it. If he wouldn't talk about his game, no one would care.
No editing I believe that and for a 78 year old golfer he is ok. He just isn’t as good as he claims he is. The problem is he exaggerates, he cheats, he drives his golf cart on to greens and even in this video you can see him driving down the middle of the tee boxes. He has no respect for the game.

He is actually really good. I watched his video with Bryson and he held his own against one of the current best players in the world. And he did so at the age of 78. That’s insane. Even more impressive is that golf isn’t all he does. He manages many businesses, former president, and currently running for president while preparing rallies and speeches. He’s multitasking so many different things and yet still manages to stay competitive in golf.
Is he ? Lol. He's only built and bought some of the world's greatest golf courses. Trump's been a really good golfer for decades and even at 78 can hold his own on the scorecard even though his action putting and driving are not as fluid and technically correct as when he was younger.
Trump uses old school wristy putting that was in fashion when he learned to play in the 1950s and 60s. He´s so good at that method that he probably doesn't want to change.
I don’t golf (I already have enough stress as it is), but I just thought it was fun and interesting to watch Trump play a round, enjoy himself, engage in small talk, etc. He showed he can be a fun guy to hang around with – I wish we could see that side of him more often

Assuming someone is cheating says more about the person making the assumption than any accusation they're trying to make. Breaking 50 is unique because every hole has to be perfect to shoot 49. It isn't much different than playing from the long tees and trying to break 60 but it moves faster and shotmaking is in play every shot.

I don't care if he's passable as a golfer, he cheats on an industrial scale, just read Rick Reilly's book Commander in Cheat. As in Golf as in life. I would refuse to play with a cheat like him, if anything, like most golfers, I'm hard on myself with the rules. Why? because you're only cheating yourself. The man has no principles, no morals he's just loathsome.

I’ve played golf with 80 year olds and they play a lot better than trump. There is no way he’s won two club championships.
