  1. Amazing video. I was fascinated to learn more about to process of making golf balls! I was hooked!

  2. What a fantastic honor for all the staff at Titleist. Great Video.informative and entertaining.

I too am greatly effected by the feel of the ball.
I prefer a softer feel when it comes to chipping putting. With putting I like a dull muted click and the feel of it almost bouncing off the face
If you could have a ball that is high compression but feels like a low compression ball like a Callaway "Supersoft" I'd be filling my bag pockets full of those. I personally don't like the feel of ProV1s. I did play some illegal "MG seniors" recently which I liked but they are illegal because they come off the club face at too higher velocity

  3. I've played the Titlest Prov1x since 2017 i used play the eclipse then switched to the Callaway cbi a budget ball which did really well for me then used srixon when i was a member at the Royal before going to Titlest

  4. I always played the club special Titleist .I have played the Pro V 1 since they came out . The club special was as good as Pro V 1!

  5. What a video – that was absolutely brilliant, the reflection at the end that golf is a game was just lovely, your an inspiration, keep it going. I've used Titleist balls for ages, just got a set of (albeit refurbished) Pro V 1 and they are lovely to hit, I haven't checked if there are any Pro V1 x in there but I will, with a handicap in the mid 20's sadly I don't get to keep my golf balls very long but I must do a wee bit of testing next time I'm out. Thanks for another cracking video.

  6. Brilliant video and a look into the behind the scenes of the development. What a privilege to be able to experience that 👍

  7. As a past injection molder and mold setup /troubleshooter in the automotive parts industry its wild to me seeing how they make their own pellets …its been years since i worked in the field but the pellets were a mystery to me and i always figured those guys made the real $$ 😬..cause we (The company ) actually built these autofeed silos that were like 4-5 stories tall with a foot print the size of small golf green ..basically to save on bulk purchases .(the moisture content has to be at specific levels so the silos werent cheap )..

  8. Iona , you give us some of the very best on line content, thank u so much!
Just tell titelist to bring back the tour speed I’m down to my last 100 balls and am worried 😅

  9. You must have been exhausted. lol. What a great opportunity. So jealous but happy you could do it and share with us. Looking forward to the next one.

  10. Just a great video Iona! Great to see you in MA! I grew up in Fairhaven and now live in Acushnet. Keep putting out top quality videos! Thank you and how’d you like Bay Club?

  11. Great video, all the staff at titleist are so nice and knowledgeable ive learnt a lot as well, glad i watched this video, you could make watching paint dry interesting as well, looking forward to seeing the next one.

  12. Do you want to watch a 75 minute video of someone getting fit for a golf ball?

    "Not really"

    It's Iona

"Can you make it 2 hours please……"

Quality video as ever, really enjoyable and informative.

  13. Great content! I personally don't like ball that click when hit. I like a nice dull thud. It makes it feel like the ball is on the face of the club a little longer giving me the feeling of more control.

  14. Brilliant content as per, I enjoyed that a lot. As a person who has recently been fit by Titleist for a ball, I would recommend the process for everyone.

  15. I though the Pro V1’s grew wild in the rough at Lanark 😂 certain found plenty in there. Seriously though another very well produced and insightful video. Sticks out from the bunch in the YouTube golf world.

  16. i was taught by old davie low in the nets upstairs in the dundee shop…i still think his way…the tech helps, but as old david would say..learn to use the clubs you have…

  17. Brilliant insight and I was lucky enough a while ago to get a white box and send feedback. So prov v x is slightly higher flight interesting may have to change to pro v then as I use x and hit the ball high. Interesting about trying balls round the green etc. True comment Iona we do take them for granted and visit to test facility defo on the bucket list. Thanks again for the video and also to Titleist.

  18. Really enjoyed the content. Relaxed vibe and passion for the game of golf. Keep up the great work.

  19. Love your channel. Please don't sell out like Rick Shiels did when he hooked up with LIV.

  20. This has absolutely nothing to do with todays video but as we sit here watching the final round at Tory Pines and we are listening to the commentators, we are wondering if you have ever thought of interviewing Dottie Pepper? It would be an amazing round and interview!

  21. A great video, thanks Iona. So interesting to hear your thoughts on the ball process but also to hear what the specialists at titleist say

  22. I have been playing the Trufeel golf ball recently as for me it gives the best return for the money spent. Would agree though that if I had no money restrictions then the pro v1x would be my ball of choice.
