Seed golf continues to impress me more and more every time I test another one of their balls. Will today continue that trend? Let’s dive in and take a look at the Seed SD-02.

  1. Good to be back to reviews! I really like your closing thoughts. Who it's for and why and who should steer clear. It really is fun to get back to reviews. Nice seeing you use Timber Touch putter as well. Told my family they should buy one for me as a present since they can personalize it.

  2. Question: When you use a wooden mallet putter against a metal blade wouldn't the wood material just naturally be "less clicky" that metal? Seed seems like they are on the rise ….. I'm going to give them a try this year …if this damn snow ever melts!

  3. Another good review!
I was thinking about Tubers who test clubs, especially drivers, and different speeds they all use the same ball. And as you have proven many times you will get different results depending on your speed and the ball. Which to me does not show the true potential of the equipment.
I think doing a video showing this will help others understand more how the ball is essential to understanding numbers. Plus, take the ball you play into a club fitting. I don’t see people getting optimal numbers hitting a TP5 and swing speed of 90.

  4. Being from the UK I'm particularly interested in Seed balls. What ball do you think would be best for a 90ish mph swing speed.

  5. I got an email from PXG. Nice to see them reference your channel in the email. They need to send you some free golf balls and a discount code for you loyal members. Another great review!!!

  6. Good review Nick. This ball is not for me, but Seed didn't make it for me. They have other balls that are aimed at my swing speed. The results you achieved proved there is no bias in your findings.

  7. I've always wondered how big of a market the absolute most talented golfer actually is, then I realize that nearly every commercial is aimed at that market. Every golf ball manufacturer makes a premium golf ball aimed at that market. You walk into a pro shop, most every display and set a clubs they offer is aimed at that market.

Apparently, that's a larger market then I ever thought it was.

  8. Did you see that Sam's Club has a new Members Mark golf ball? It seem to have hexagonal dimples and it. might be interesting to compare it to the Costco ball.
