This is why you struggle to strike your irons pure and don’t hit them as far as you could
1. As opposed to an effortless golf swing you have a golf swing that is full of tension
2. Your golf swing sequence is slightly off and simply needs the da-da-da exercise creaetd by Danny Maude
What’s great is if you have any one of these faults in your golf swing they are really easy to fix and can make an instant impact on the quality of your ball striking not just with your irons but with your driver too.
For example if you want to hit your driver straight and hit driver longer learning how to sequence your golf swing can instantly give you that effortless golfs swing.
Danny Maude has put the golf swing tips in a practice plan that you can access here 👇

ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Good!
Wow. Is this packed with good stuff. Thank you for a great set of tips.
Danny this was great information, I know what I'm doing wrong in my swing. I struggle with the just letting the club swing with out trying to muscle it through out the swing. Thank you great lesson.
Love it maestro Danny but can do without the 3rd dah 🤣 more like a symphony, with #2 dah being the strike. allow the follow through to finish naturally. 🎵🎼 🎶
Great tip. I just went out and tried it. It worked great!
This is the best video you have done!!!
Hi Danny, just got back from the driving range. Hit a couple of hundred balls with every club in my bag. I can't thank you enough for the way I am now striking the ball. If I was on tour, you would be my coach. The golfing community is fortunate to have you.
With a 7 iron club head speed in the 90s I nearly didn't watch this. My bad though as I get my speed in completely the wrong way by spinning out from the top and standing up to prevent slices. Danny, this is a brilliant video for any golfer who lacks consistency.
Perfect timing, , as each basket of balls gets worse I tense up and try to hit harder – loosing this natural feel and using so much effort for little gain- fired up now !! Thanks Danny.
You da man, Dan!!
Thank you sir
Timing and tempo… Keep it simple. Loved the video Danny. Da da da😂🤔🤔
Hi Danny. First video I’ve watched in ages as I’ve had a break for various reasons. Hoping to make a return by the new season. I’d love one of those range lessons from you.
Great video as always Danny. This is exactly what I’ve been trying to do as I was quite slow and forced. I do see the benefit with increased distance but my consistency is totally off. I’ve noticed that in order to get momentum, I sway off the ball too much and less of a coil. Any ‘feels’ or tips to ensure momentum but not lose the coil? Would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for the great tips. One question is how to aim better and hittinf it straight for irons and drivers
Another great lesson Danny and you have the rare gift of keeping things simple and easily understood. I’ve learned so much through your online lessons. Maybe one day I’ll fork out for a lesson in person! – Steve
Thanks Danny great advice!
Thank you so much Danny! Your lessons always bring light to the darkness, the ease with which you convey it makes it understandable for everyone. We really improve!!!!!
I did this correctly once. I hit a 2 iron from a tee over a forest of trees at Old Thorns. I'd just read Hogan's 5 Lessons book which basically mentioned the same thing about allowing the clubface to fall and got it right just this once. My 2 iron soared about 275 yards down the fairway, far over the trees without even trying. A couple of far better players than me had waved to me to play my tee shot as they walked round the trees on the path to their balls and I reluctantly accepted with a sinking feeling. When I reached them on the fairway and started looking for my ball they said what are you looking here for, your's is right down there, you may as well play through. For the one and only time in 50+ years of playing golf hopelessly, I felt like Jack Nicklaus. It was the best shot I've ever hit. Normal service was resumed on the next hole when I hacked my tee shot about 100 yards into a ditch and lost my ball. I've never been able to repeat that great shot since.
Excellent Danny, we all appreciate your help. You make all your tips so understandable and easy to relate to. Thank you once again.
Your swings look so free and easy , but put a big belly in the way and it makes swinging around it a lot tuffer, ya
Brilliant, looks so easy. Got to try and replicate next time I’m out. So good at your explanation, thank you!
I cant get to your driving range as i live in Australia. So can i send you a video of my swing for a free feed back 😂😂
love your teaching Danny!!
Awesome video and awesome guy! Appreciate you!
How do you make the towel?
Great lesson. No mention of rotation, or leading with your hips, which I feel gets so many golfers in trouble, and leads to spinning out and/or over the top shots.
Ok I'm going to try this as soon as the ten inches of snow is gone. Da da-da. I'll let you know how it works out.
Great video Danny, but can I use Do-Re-Mi 🙂
Timothy Gallwey's book is an absolute bible, self 1 vs self 2!
A lot of amateurs are missing one very key component to feeling the club swing freely. They will not allow the forearms to naturally roll. About a third of the way into your backswing, YOU MUST allow the left forearm to start rolling higher than your right forearm. This move feels like you’re losing the orientation of the club face, but it’s the key for that freedom of movement, and effortless speed.
da da da cant wait to try!…Thanks again Danny
Thanks again Danny. In my 2 years of golf your videos have helped me greatly. One thing i don't recall seeing is how far away from the ball should one stand? Is there an easy guideline for this? Maybe left arm extended holding the iron with the lie flat on the ground?
Just another perfect visual and explanation that you always demonstrate Danny! 🙏
This is great. I had a lesson recently and he said bring the club straight back reaching for 10pm … watching this seems so effortless and less confusing then my lesson. I’m now all wound up and thinking to much.
This is great. I had a lesson recently and he said bring the club straight back reaching for 10pm … watching this seems so effortless and less confusing then my lesson. I’m now all wound up and thinking to much. How do take the club straight back without reaching ? He said to make a figure 8 to get in the slot, I went from 12.3 handicap to a 20 overnight, any advice ?
Nice vid what weight do you advise (left right movement?
Did this fella wangle a one hour free lesson from Danny? If so, really jealous!
That’s it! I’m making the 15 mile trip to Canterbury GC to use the range in case Danny is there giving free lessons in return for me being the next subject of his videos! 😊
Thank you so much Danny for all those free lessons and the way you offer them. I'm in south France so I can't hope to see you any day on the course/practice but I'm already so glad to have you on the channel. People having you IRL for coaching are really lucky. 😊 You're really making golf lessons pleasant and entertaining so thank you from the bottom of my heart. 😌🙏
A few months fresh golfer 😉
