  1. The way I can describe the Sharks is "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut." Happy with the result but I'm still not sure how the rest of the URC is gonna go…

  2. I'm pretty sure that's the first time in Celtic/URC history that an Irish side has lost to BOTH Italian sides in the same year. Ulster are in a TERRIBLE rut at the moment. Ireland may be flying again, but something tells me the IRFU have to figure out what to do to help them. Ireland will not survive well on 3x teams if something were to happen.

I'd certainly like to think the addition of London Irish, who were saved recently from administration, could perhaps aid Ireland further in the developmental cycle. It's no secret that the strongest nations in WR have a wealth of players and resources to choose from, and I think these are massive priorities the IRFU will have to look at.

  3. bulls great scrummaging but predictable gameplan they need to come up with better rugby crashing and hoping for player to score is not gonna work anymore with the stormers seem to have white line fever cannot score even 5 metres out to many handling areas we used to be the most dangerous sa side now its a complete joke still think we can beat the bulls at loftus though if we get some players back connacht made an illegal turnover at the end should have been a penalty to cardiff

  4. Bulls got found out, I don’t think they’ll be in the running for a home Quarter. Sharkboks are the real deal for SA this year.

Leinster train rolls on. Ospreys gave them a good go but considering this is the Leinster C team it’s ominous they still go undefeated.

Good for Glasgow to get another 5 points. But Edinburgh- Everitt has to go. They play like a bunch of individuals, it’s schoolboy stuff. There is neither tactics or strategy. You feel that their squad is better than two thirds of this league and they are going to miss out on the play offs again. Congratulations to Zebre, I actually hope they make the playoffs, it’s not impossible, and it’s what they would deserve for heads up attacking rugby. Garcia could play for any team in the URC.

Pleased as a Glasgow fan to see Munster begin to turn the screw on their season after a diabolical start. They are ominously driving towards a home quarter.

Ulster are in a nosedive to the bottom.

  5. Bulls were also going to maul every line out, galloping down the field and getting penalties when Sharks collapsed. Super attacking by Sharks along with the Bulls messing up.
Big wind in Connacht match: game of two halves.

  6. Bulls were atrocious this weekend, you can't be that dominant on penalty count amd get no points return on it, Sharks were down to 12 for a short while and Bulls still couldn't score out wide.

Stormers defence has some huge holes, feels like Lions bench coaxed it in by the end allowing Stormers back in the game after an incredibly dominant first half

  7. cheers or the swift run through.. URC highlights obviously done by the DEI staff. Would it kill them to show the teams on-screen for 2 seconds so you could see who is playing before the start.

  8. Speaking about the connacht game, the wind was absolutely mental, that's how Cardiff could come back. Connachts kicks landed back in the kickers hands in the second half, and a Cardiff restart went out on the full because of the wind

  9. No Leinster handling errors, no scrums, no Ospreys breakdown wins, no real context on the game. Like showed the penalty at end of the first half, but not the maul defence, plus the lack of the missed kick to touch at the end were the losing of the game given the scoreline.

  10. Wilco Louw must be close to the world's best scrummager at this stage. My view on the Saffa sides is that they need new coaches for their club sides. Except maybe the Lions. The forwards are massive, the backs have tonnes of pace, but they seem to rely on power or individual brilliance to score tries.

  11. Ospreys were so close, we’ve had a few close ones with Leinster over the years and I’m sure we’ll beat them again😭 But fair play Leinster, tough cookie to crack you are
