Imagine spending who knows how much money in R&D to develop a perfectly weighted club head only to put a huge glob of glue in production…

It always amazes me to see how cheaply our 600,- lovesticks are made. This is literally yust a couple of cast metal parts and a carbon cover.

And to add to my comment: look at the poor quality of the cast at the front-weight.

It’s funny because the manufacturers will talk about their precision placed weighting, then you just see a puddle of stuff sitting inside the head and globs of epoxy squishing out from the seams between materials looking like a 10-year-old put it together lol. $600 for that craftsmanship right there, what a joke.

You’re supposed to belt the cover off the ball not the driver! Calaway Paradym Epic?

That’s where they keep the AI.

If it’s less then 2 years old and you bought it brand new reach out to callaway. They have a 2 year warranty on their drivers. Last Christmas I bought myself a new MAVRIK driver. Within a few months during a late winter/early spring round it busted at the seam where the metal and the carbon fiber were glued/fused. I reached out to callaway customer service and had a new driver in a week. They didn’t happen to have any more MAVRIK’s in my spec, so they upgraded my replacement to an AI Smoke instead. One of the best, friendliest and easiest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Can’t speak highly enough of the team at Callaway. They made a customer for life with that interaction.

How’d you get a robin’s egg in your driver?

How is that plastic / goop thing not affecting performance between clubs given its not the same on every driver?
