Jordan Spieth makes a return to The Smylie Show, joining Smylie Kaufman to discuss his fall 2024 wrist surgery, his ensuing recovery process, and returning to contention on the PGA TOUR at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open. Jordan and Smylie recap the past few weeks in golf, including a wild TGL tripleheader in progress during their conversation, and Jordan playing alongside eventual champion Ludvig Åberg at the Genesis Invitational. Jordan details the return to his “swing DNA” as part of his wrist surgery recovery, and talks about the swing feels that he’s working on right now.

  1. Great to see Jordan back in the mix! Love how introspective he got from the injury and how he had to relearn his golf swing. Excited to see how he builds on this momentum—2025 could be a big year for him! We need him in New York in September!

  2. Another great show. Two things I learned: Smylie's intel on the fuel stops had to be better than Jordan was willing to share. Secondly, apparently it takes a really long time to fuel these planes. I'm always pulling for the Texas guys. Lots of injuries/rehab lately with Jordan, Scottie, Willie Z. Thanks again.

  3. Had an amazingly stout early pro career and now is doing what all great players must do. Relearn, rebuild and adapt the swing with an older wiser body. Some never make it back, but I wouldn't bet against Jordan desire to get back to top of the heap. More new younger strong players out there now than ever before. Nice show Smylie Good luck this year Jordan.

  4. There is one color commentator seems to think Jordan bowing his wrist caused his left wrist problems ? Going stronger left hand grip would be the best way for Jordan to get back to great golf . Neutral or weak left grip does ask for problems.

  5. Jordan is a great guy, also my favorite golfer since I used to watch with my dad when I was young. I went to WM open this year seeing him play well was awesome (I also saw u on the 9th and yelled at you smylie 😂)
