LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas City Council has given the green light for the development of the long-defunct Badlands Golf Course.
Lennar Homes announced plans to construct just under 1,500 homes on the site located at the corner of Alta and Rampart.
The decision comes after the city recently settled a lengthy legal battle over previous development plans for Badlands.
The city had initially denied an application to build on the site, citing concerns from neighboring residents and arguing that the land was intended for parks or open spaces.
