Everton gave every ounce of fight and passion to ensure the last-ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park did not end in defeat as James Tarkowski’s stunning injury-time equaliser secured a 2-2 draw on a memorable night fitting for the Grand Old Lady.

Beto had given the Blues an 11th-minute lead, but Liverpool scored through Alexis Mac Allister and Mohammad Salah – only for Tarkowski to have the final say in the 98th minute.

  1. Mersyside derbies and Everton defender’s getting crazy die minute goals. I remember jaglieka also a former number 6 by the way, getting a crazy die minute goal to earn Everton a draw against liverpool some years back and now tarkowski. Truly a crazy derby❤

  2. Мдааа хороший матч был Эвертону удачы на следующих матчах от фаната Ливерпуля❤💙

  3. Both Everton goals….. in the lead up they got some very nice calls but still you have to react better.

  4. Everton are improving incredibally. Soon they will leapfrog UTD which I think are getting worse and worse.and more dangerously, Utd will be in the relegation zone sooner than later.

  5. That push from Beto on konate wasn't rectified by Oliver what an incompetent referee he better retire earlier or else an emotional fan might take his life

  6. last derby at Goodison Park, writing this line making me emotionally overwhelmed. as a foreign student in this amazing city who came 8 years ago and never left, in seriously in love with Goodison Park and Anfield. This is heritage. All hail to Merseyside, master of the game

  7. Meeting Everton at Anfield can't come soon enough. I hope in three or so weeks' time we will see more football than red and yellow cards. I also hope the pgmol will provide a referee that knows what he is doing. A football referee that won't be biased over whose faults will be more tolerated than the others. We at Liverpool are tired of the disrespect we get from leg breakers and blind refereeing.

  8. well done Everton you won your cup final. Every year you start the season hoping to take points off Liverpool and that is your cup final. Well done, I hope you like the silverware.
