Floridian Adventures, Pt 1: Streamsong Resort
Welcome to Floridian Adventures, a golf travel series exploring some of the Sunshine Stateβs finest courses. In Part 1, we dive into Streamsong Resort, a golfing paradise unlike any other in Florida.
π Streamsong Resort is the only destination in the world with courses designed by three of the biggest names in modern golf course architecture:
β
Red Course β Designed by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw (Strategic, rugged, links-style)
β
Blue Course β Designed by Tom Doak (Sweeping elevation, bold bunkering)
β
Black Course β Designed by Gil Hanse (Expansive, dramatic, visually stunning)
Unlike the flat terrain typical of Florida golf, Streamsong is built on 7,000 acres of former phosphate mining land, leaving behind sandy dunes, rolling fairways, and breathtaking elevation changes. The resort’s strategic design, firm and fast conditions, and pure golf experience make it one of the most unique and sought-after destinations for serious golfers.
ποΈββοΈ In this episode, we take you through the courses, showcase the breathtaking scenery, and put the design philosophies to the test. Could Streamsong be Floridaβs best golf resort? Watch and decide for yourself!

Do you think the "original traditions, and the original conditions…will always be the same" at Streamsong Resort?? β³πββ
Thank you for providing insight into this modern golfing resort. Whilst there appeared to be a couple of quite attractive holes there seems to be an overall picture of flat fairways punctuated by surrounding 'native areas' and large numbers of bunkers. The greens seemed massive with occasional rollercoaster outcrops of steep slopes. I prefer the more natural traditional courses of the UK and Ireland.
