540 par 5. You hit 208 off the tee U hit a 6 iron left you 130 in Meaning you've hit 6 iron 200 😂😂😂😂😂
Great ⛳⛳⛳ show thanks Les from Perth Australia 🏌️🏌️🏌️
Nice video David. Like others just what I wanted to see. I'm stuck on 26 and not improving
Someone needs to find Rob and show him where the middle of those greens are.
U guys r rite 18 handicappers hit fat thin skull n flub shots. Whats not being said here is howto avoid th bad shots. U must PURE
ur Ball Striking to CENTER of Clubhead hits. To do this, hit 300 balls from hip hi 2 hip hi, with toe of club pointing up in hip hi backswing n in hip hi follow thru.
Distance is not important ONLY CENTER Contact.
This will lock in pure ball striking into ur Muscle Memory. U can hit 30 w this drill 10 days or 100 balls over 3 days. Doesnt matter. Also all that matters is center of clubface ball contact. That is th fith line up on th clubface.
All these suggestions are absolutely correct, but depend on the ability to hit the shots, and do not help those of us who just can't, due to yips or whatever else. A good example is the little pitch on the 3rd hole; about a 1 in 20 shot for me, despite any number of perfect practice swings.
Loved how relaxed you are when hitting the ball. No smashing it. Make mid length club choices. I'll try this more! Many thanks!
An important aspect of this methodology is that it is STRESS-FREE!
Very little pressure when you go in with a mind-set like this. I like it.
Was that a hybrid you teed off with on the first two holes?
Some very good advice but high handicappers don’t hit the ball straight off the Tee! Probably only 50% of the time. Most high handicappers cannot hit a 6 iron, should use a 5 rescue and chipping is hit and miss!
Unfortunately the club where I (an 18-handicap golfer, as it happens) play has a lot more in the way of penalty areas and other hazards than the course in the video. Ponds, ditches, sloping greens, long rough, bunkers – just about every hole threatens a potential score of 3 or 4 over par. If I am in a stroke play competition, scoring under 90 is for me a rarity.
Excellent, great logic, very listenable and enjoyable…thanks. I'm higher than 18 but this gives me hope.
Without a shot tracker, hitting into the wilderness means absolutely nothing nowadays, subscribers want to see where the ball has gone.
Top players have caddies. Every shot lie or green read gets advice. Average mugs get nil. Get playing mate to be your caddy on a social game. Can help a lot. Public courses often have misaligned tee boxes here in Oz. 2 eyes spotting just that a bonus.
There are so many channels that only provide guidance on how to strike the ball. The strategic guidance in this video is much more helpful by providing practical advice on how to manage each hole – establishing reasonable expectations, eliminating the constant disappointment that invariably affects the next shot. Looking forward to a big improvement – Many thanks.
I don’t know any fellow golfer who doesn’t want to hit the ball +350 yards off the tee & 150 yards with a 9 iron then single putt on every hole & they don’t really ever think about what handicap they are playing off but I have seen the odd player or two who will miss a putt on purpose in order to protect their handicap for the weekend medal comp!
540 yard par 5. You hit the drive 200 and had 130 yards for your approach. So you hit the second shot 210 yards. Given than you were trying to hit a 150 yard 6 iron and claim an 18 handicapper can only hit 180 yard drives, how would an 18 handicapper hit a 6 iron 210 yards ?
I'm the short hitter of my regular group with a good drive of about 165-170… In the past year, I've taken this same approach but by my standards and I'm close to averaging 90 (92)…You gave me the 15-foot idea to work with and that might be what it takes to shave 2-3 more strokes…Great video…Thanks.
Enjoyed your video will be giving this a go in the morning 👍
I like you play without flag removal
