President Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is seemingly a fan of Niall Horan — despite him calling out her grandfather on social media in the past.
On Monday, February 3, Kai, 17 — eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa — posted an Instagram carousel with a photo of the 31-year-old Irish singer-songwriter.
In the snap, Horan donned a simple black long-sleeve polo shirt and smiled next to the teen, who wore a blue zip-up jacket and a white T-shirt. The two were at a golfing event in Palm Beach, Florida.

Kai, an avid golfer, captioned her post, “What my weekends have been looking like!”
Fans took to the comment section to weigh in on the unexpected picture.
“NIALL JAMES HORAN AND KAI TRUMP I AM HERE FOR THIS DUOOOO,” somebody gushed.
“NIALL RUN BABY RUNNNNNNN,” one fan joked.
Another individual pointed out how the former One Direction member is not politically aligned with the 78-year-old commander-in-chief, writing, “Were you aware when taking the photo with Niall that he strongly disagrees with and dislikes your grandpa? Not even trying to be a hater here, I’m just wondering if that’s awkward? 😭.”

Throughout the years, the “Slow Hands” singer has made multiple posts on X (formerly Twitter) calling The Apprentice alum out. In 2018, he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden and shared how he and his One Direction bandmates had to leave the Trump Hotel in Manhattan after refusing to take a photo with President Trump’s lawyer’s daughter.
“We were playing Madison Square Garden. We basically said we were doing no meet and greets and stuff because it was such a big show. It was the biggest show of our career,” Horan explained. “So he said, ‘Could you take a photo with my lawyer’s daughter?’ And we were like, she’s gonna come down and make a big hullabaloo, and we were like, ‘no, it’s on lockdown, the show.’ So he said you’re not allowed to use the garage door anymore. You’re gonna have to stand in the front steps and take photos and basically promote the hotel, so we just left.”
