The L.A.B DF3 putter is creating a lot of buzz and interest among golfers, but some players misunderstand or are confused by how the L.A.B DF3’s lie angle balance works. Let me explain and show you how lie angle balance works

  1. Bought my Scotty Cameron 5.5 like we talked about like 6 weeks ago, after your write up,on them. Very happy with it, over this Lab putter. Golf is over Northeast. Will have to practice off season

  2. Yes,Let the putter swing on an arc. Small on short putts and larger as the stroke gets longer. Don’t manipulate the face with your hands to keep it “square”. Some may disagree, but straight back straight thru is a horrible way to try to putt, because you are standing to the side of the ball.

  3. If you have trouble keeping a lab putter square, your going to have trouble putting no matter what. The face does stay square if you have a good stroke.

  4. LAB putters:
If you aim for the hole and swing towards the hole – the ball will…..go towards the hole.
You can also use a broomstick to demonstrate ‘$600 lie angle balance’.
    1. Aim straight 2. Pull back straight
    3. Follow through straight 4. Ball goes ……..(you guessed it) ….straight !!!

  5. It just doesnt make you fight it. I just keep my left arm straighter than I normally did with my standard putter and rotate with my obliques. Its on line every time. I SUCKED at putting before. Now I'm pretty decent and actually able to understand what is happening more which makes practice super fun.
