  1. I am aware of the criticisms of the design of Torry Pines. But it is more interesting to see the tour pros using 4 irons and hybrids for their approach shots to par 4 holes and tee shots on par 3s. Not to mention having par be a decent score on a par 5.

  2. Love Rory, his honesty is refreshing but I can see why he Lav's many!

Niemann great player could win majors. Lov his play.

Fantastic win for Aberg. Lov it!

  3. 3 wins allready wow and unlucky with weather at pebble which was only 1 shot off lead with round to go! Wonder what world ranking is now 😮

  4. This podcast has gotten too polished. I miss the old days on this pod you guys were more casual. Not anymore. just seems like every other golf channel show now.

  5. Future podcast topic: how can the PGA integrate LIV players back into the fold when next year they are reducing field sizes and the number of tour cards to 100. It would be a kick in the face to all the current players to allow LIV golfers to play in signature events. Only way I can see is to make the full field plus or overhaul the entire tour structure from scratch into something that encompasses PGA, LIV and DP

  6. The Nordic Wave is more like a Tsunami.

Åberg, Hovland, the Højgaard twins, with many more tour winners & some serious young talent coming through from Scandinavia. What is happening? How did they do it?

I spent a decade in a Danish golf club and you'd see these teens that started the game in May, but had handicaps of 4 by October. Incredible! 🌊

  7. Twosomes are very easy with split tees. You don't need to reduce the cut…these guys are trying to make a living!!!…And get into majors.

  8. I can’t stand Rory but he is right on this one. Everyone that is butt hurt needs to get over it. They all benefitted from LIV. Just unify golf again so all the best players play against each other.

  9. Wow Wagner throwing shade at Rory’s caddie. I disagree. If rory had the wedge game he is developing now; and the putting he has improved of late (not this week) things may be different in the major win column for Rory.

Hurting sponsors ? It’s a business deal. They have a choice. Most are choosing to stay. Because it is still a good deal for them. Arguably they had too good of a deal.

I do agree Rory’s choice of words is yet another example of how he is not the good leader people wish he was.

They can be on the same page if Liv becomes the WgCs of this new era.

They are making money on Liv.

You are so wrong they need 5-10 players from Liv. You are being American centric again. Take a long hard look at all the Spanish speakers on liv. Pretty much Every single one of those guys should be on the pga tour. Pereira might be the most struggling and he almost won the pga championship not too long ago.

Wagner is the most butt hurt.

I disagree Mav should lose focus by joining that policy board.

If anyone doesn’t care about 60th place money it’s Mav. I disagree with him because 65 players should never have a pace of play issue. 2 somes is nice.

But There needs to be shot clocks. The overall round time matters but the real problem is when a player takes over a minute. And the camera stays with them the entire time.

  10. It felt like Torrey Pines played easier on Sunday then I have ever seen. The scoring average was -3. #askLav Were the officials at Genesis nice with the pin location on Sunday cause they wanted to give the media a superstar winner as we finish the west coast swing after the wildfires force Genesis to move from Riveria to Torrey Pines?

  11. during Golf Today this week, I'd just like to call out Lav for laying out, in my opinion, the best possible solution for the Fedex Cup problem. and that is to simply end the season in Memphis, by crowning the year long points champion. dump w/e pile of cash you want on that, but then reserve another pile of cash for the playoffs (which could be anything from stoke play to match play) for the next 3 weeks, which ultimately determines the top 70, 90, etc. so simple, and i bet every tour player would be behind this idea.

  12. 25 and two wins is pretty good, but definitely not an all-timer. At age 25, Nicklaus had won 4 majors and Woods had won 6. Jones had won 4 and he could only play in 2 each year.
