There’s only one man who can fix Matt’s swing. That man is Andy Carter, the greatest golf coach in the world. He won’t put up with Matt’s tantrums and antics. He’s not scared of Matt like all of these other “coaches” Matt plays with. Nor will he allow Matt to pout and denigrate himself during the round or during a practice session. Andy Carter is the only golf coach capable of improving Matt’s game to competition level.
Ah, well, New Clubs, New Year, Same Old Score…..clearly the Definition of Insanity at work here. Something different is needed Matt, hope you find it.

Does anyone that plays mizuno wedges know which of the grinds V, C, X is good for both tight hard lies like bunkers and soft conditions? Asking so I don’t have to buy two different wedges for a 58 or 60, thanks
My home track… In the prevailing wind always a very tough start particularly 4 & 5… Way to hard on yourself Matt.. Your mental approach needs to change if your to have any chance in comps… You were almost beating after 2 holes in this video…

Really enjoyed the video. Tough conditions, amazing course, solid golf played & sage advice being given. Get out of your own head & get playing some comps where it's not for the cameras or audience, then it'll be "job done" 👍
We've all had rounds like that…Swing doesn't feel right and you compound it on the green with 3 putts. Pars feel like birdies..Golf is hard.

Watching Shane go about his business is a lesson in attitude that we can all learn something from! Golf is a game full of variables, and some times the things that happen aren't your fault… There were shots on the video where you said you were happy with the shot and how you played, yet still looked like the world had ended! Frustrating, yes, but what more can you do than play a shot the way you want to?!
The good swings show the work with Damian is coming positive… Stick to the pre shot routines and the reasons behind them before you're over the ball, and then just play the shot!
Keep at it, and as Shane says, get out of your own way on the course and you'll show how good you are!!
Seems like your always thinking what others are thinking. Best thing said in this video is " just get out of your own way " My uncle gave me a reality check he said stop watching pure your irons everytime videos on YouTube. You're not as good as you think you are and you don't hit it as far as you think. Since then I'm playing the best golf I've ever played 😂

Matt, I really feel that your game is closer than you realize. From what I was watching in this video, you seem to be guiding the club to a spot weather then swinging the club and trusting your swing. While playing go through the assessment of what you need to do and just focus on committing to what you're seeing as a shot. The outcome is the outcome. But building your confidence in your swing will come with swinging away and let the club do the work. I see you having some very favorable rounds in the near future mate.

"You need to get out of your own way" Very, very wise words and something you really need to take on board Matt. You were only 2 over par on the back nine with a good few birdie opportunities, so it could have been better still.
