  1. Another great video Rog, I used to go up to St Andrews a lot in the 80s for the Golf. I worked for St Andrews Ambulance at the time and we'd have to take the First Aid caravan up from Glasgow and set it up. Shame about the pish n chips 😂

  2. Thanks, Roger, for St. Andrews trip. Really nice town, pity no railway station, but Leuchars not to far away! Been a long time since I was there. Had a great day, weather wise, for your visit. Great to hear also, that Mrs E, is recovering well. 😃.

  3. I use to go to St Andrew’s all the time at one time & it is a lovely town. My gran & grandad use to live in St Andrew’s in the 80s. Alot of fond memories as a child growing up in the 1970s & 80s.

  4. Mate this is keeping me from editing today, AND giving me ideas! Cheers for showing the other side of St Andrews, fascinating place packed with history. Have a great weekend and all the best to Mrs E with her recovery 🙂

  5. Nice video, thanks. What a lovely place St.Andrews is. Might put it on my bucket list. Such a shame there’s no train to St.Andrews. Looks like a train worthy town.

  6. Great vlog, Rog! I remember seeing the station sign mentioning Leuchars for St Andrews when I was on the way up to Dundee!
Nice to see you're making the most of the HST's while they're still in Scotland!
St Andrews looks like a pretty place! I'll definitely check it out in the future!

  7. Been there many times, mostly by bus from Edinburgh but also by bus from Dundee. As a Paisley resident, this town is something special. It is also great to visit the home of golf, me being an ex-golfer (and future golfer)… handicap 21.3. As a tourist attraction and a place to visit, I would put St. Andrews in the top 5 of Scottish tourist attractions. Thanx for a great video that confirms my views. Btw William and Kate became an item in St. Andrews… the future king and queen of UK.

  8. What I love about St Andrews the most, is it’s just such a nice place to walk around, loads of places for coffee and cake.. so much history scattered around all over the place.

  9. It's a gorgeous place to visit, especially on a nice day. I have no interest in golf, but it's clear that the money from that and from the university help make it a very desirable place to live and to visit. There are so many shops, restaurants and pubs for a place of its size, and the coastal scenery is amongst the best in the UK. Ah, will have to visit again!

  10. Stunning architecture in St Andrews Roger, such a beautiful place even with its own harbour.
You must go back once Mrs E is better

  11. MAGICAL CITY!!!! One of the top 3 cities I've ever been to! We ventured into the North Sea (it was July) and just had a glorious day! The company was pretty good that day, too!

  12. My granddaughter is currently studying for her masters degree. We are from Columbus Ohio. I will be visiting there the 2nd of April for a week
