  1. Reading the comments it seems like this was not a home run! I am not familiar with the rules of baseball and the original footage stated that this was a home run swing so I trusted that! I hope you enjoy seeing this footage of Babe Ruth nevertheless

  2. By the way that came off the bat that was far from a homer. Pop foul. Yes i saw that this footage was labeled as such but you shouldnt take anything as true. Especially now

  3. I was there. My Dad caught that foul ball while Mom was standing next to him while cradling me in her arms. I wonder how much I can get for the ball? 🤔 Maybe enough to pay for my funeral which could be any day now? 😳

  4. With all respect. Babe have a bad swing. Bade cannot play in this era with that swing. The fastball of 95, 98, and sometimes 104 mph he will strikeout a 250 times.
    But nice to see.

  5. Hello babe Ruth, we see you here , hey its 2025 , great hit !from a new yorker , brooklyn and a yankee fan !!!!!!

  6. Wow imagine seeing those games, an unknowingly watching the greatest baseball player hitting! Just was a American thing back then hotdogs, popcorn an baseball 💀

  7. ⚾🧢Babe's swing reminds me of the best swing of all time, Ken Griffey, Jr.
Aw man, I loved seeing Griffey, Jr. swing his bat. I sat right behind him one time and lost my mind.
Doggone hamstrings. Had it not been for his hamstrings, Griffey, Jr. would have been 1 of the top, greatest.

  8. I discovered this channel a week ago and I love it. The bringing color to Black and White. The picture quality, "Excellent". For these to be such old films. Thank you for doing this. Great idea, whoever came up with it. 💫

  9. My maternal grand parents were born in 1920. Hard to believe this moment in time that im watching they were just babies and right now they would both be 105 years old.
