The Scottish Open has often been one of the highlights of our seasons and we had a very enjoyable event in 1999. Holder Frede Schott was back to defend, home men Peter Carr and James Grieves were strong contenders as were visitors like Carl Stonehewer, Sean Wilson, Jesper Olsen and David Walsh.
