Jared Goff was given up on by the team that drafted him and traded to Detroit where his career was sent to die. But against all odds he helped turn the Lions into a powerhouse and is playing the best football of his career.

  1. When my Rams went back to LA they took Goff at their QB and I love him. I had some doubts about him but it was clear that a lot of it was on McVay as genius of a coach he is, his shit is so complex idk how Stafford is able to repeat back everything he’s saying through the mic. There is a clip going around of Stafford telling McVay “Please Stop” when he’s trying to talk in the huddle.

He lost his confidence and his coach didn’t have his back even though he was doing great leading us to the Super Bowl. He got dumped into what normally would be a death sentence but luckily there was a change in the Lions organization. He had a couple shaky years but his coach was behind him. His team believed in him and he regained that confidence. I know he is the QB which will take Lions to the Super Bowl, but right now it’s any given Sunday and you only get 1 shot.

He isn’t my QB anymore but I want him to win with the Lions so bad

  2. It honestly should be a crime this channel doesn’t have a million subs yet with this production quality 🙌🙌

  3. Feel like the message behind this video completely misses the point. The lions are great because of everyone around Goff and the guy who was calling plays for him. Detroit’s success is build on their line, run game and play calling that just left. There’s value to being able to run a system where you’re not asked to do a lot of heavy lifting but he’s succeeding because of his situations not the other way around. He has had incremental improvement since his Rams days but he’s still the same guy

  4. I have always been appreciative of our number one pick. He gave us something to cheer about with the Rams back in Los Angeles. I hope he continues to do well in Detroit.

  5. I'm glad that Jared Goff was able to bounce back after the Rams played him. He was never as bad as people made him out to be.

  6. There is no such thing as a muliti billion dollar "poverty franchise". When people say things like that, it makes no sense.

  7. Nah, he ass.
Dont get fooled, he is good when he has everyone around him elite.
He is not a QB that can thrive under an average o line or average run game/wr core.

His best season with the Rams was the Offensive player of the year Gurley, when he had a ton of time to throw on play action plays.
Once Gurleys knee gave up, Goff showed his true colors.

Same with the Lions, once the run game was shut off by the commanders, he went back to the same old Goff, throwing dumb picks and fumbling the ball.

  8. 3:47 those critics were right then, Goff still struggles a lot under pressure.
Dude is not mobile, is average while navigating the pocket and also has small hands that leads to dumb fumbles when sacked.

  9. I love how he glossed over Goff throwing 5 picks in a game that Detroit won in spite of him this past season.

  10. Good to see Goff hate is back. He does best when he has to shut ya’ll up. He is going to win a Super Bowl next year.

  11. Ah yes, we are a powerhouse that couldn’t win a single playoff game against a trash team. Partially Geoff’s fault, but mostly the traitor Ben Johnson and an injured as heck defense

  12. I like how you act like Goff was some prodigy in high school, but you only mentioned absolutely trash teams that wanted him 😅

  13. I cannot wait to watch him next season, he's only getting better each season here in Detroit. He played amazing this season even if it ended on a bad note, a bad game should not erase the incredible season he had in 2024. Love his story and I know he can bring us all the way in Detroit

  14. 18:27 The Lions were playoff contenders until nearly kickoff of this game. This game was flexed because it was nearly “win or go home” for both teams. Hell of a game.
