I'm on the same page as Yorkie about the 4 Nations.. I'm happy for the Sens players that made their teams and I'll give them a chance, but I feel like it's just gunna be a slightly more competitive but much longer version of the all star weekend.

Hammer is a sheriff one the ice for the Sens. The only other sheriff we have is Brady. I suspect that why Hammer get used more often then not.
Really wild how marc was harrasing fans in their dms with his transphobic bullshit over a period of months. That type of unhinged behavior would get you fired from most jobs, hockey community apparently 100% cool with it.

Yorkie is really grinding my gears with the constant not best on best attitude towards this tournament. Iโm not as pumped for it as the Olympics myself but other than missing Russia whoโs probably 3rd best after USA, this is the 4 best hockey countries. Are you losing out on guys like Draisaitl sure but how well does Germany do internationally and Draisaitl wouldnโt be as effective with 3/4 of his team playing for DEL. It is the best players from the best 4 counties (-Russia)competing against the best players from the best 4 countries ๐injuries have come up too but that happens for Olympics and World Cup also. Give it up ๐

I think Yorkie is way off regarding the 4 nations, at least with respect to Canada and the US.
Just imagine the atmosphere on Saturday night when they face off in Montreal. Given the current political implications, you are perhaps approaching the sort of feeling of playing the Soviets in 1972. Not saying of course it will be equal to that (don't think that's possible), but still, it is going to be absolutely electric. Perhaps comparable to the 2002 men's Olympic final in Salt Lake. And that's just a round robin game. Imagine they meet in the final ? Wow !
