After the win, I asked a friend who was a confirmed Ryan Day hater if he switched from being a hater to a lover. He said not a lover but also no longer a hater. I guess that along with big victories like Ohio State’s win you have to take little victories where you can find them. The conservative play calling against Michigan is what cost them the game and the go for it mentality as displayed by the deep ball to Smith on third down is what won them the national championship. Hopefully, the go for it mentality on the offensive side will carry over to next year.
What did these players go through that other teams don’t go through? Because they had pain for losing to Michigan? Come on… all teams feel pain when they lose to their main rival. I am not blaming Herbstreit for crying that his school won the trophy because I also cried when Michigan won the Championship. I just don’t get all the talk about adversity because of losing to one’s main rival. It happens every year by lots of teams.

I love Kirk! He sometimes makes me mad he's so objective during the year! But I always know that he's a buckeye love him for the NFL games too. Loved this moment! What's absolutely my favorite moment the reaction after the championship from anyone!
