  1. I go PW-6 in one length then one length 5 hybrid into a 5 wood and driver. Wedges are also normal length. The one length hybrid took me a while to get used to but it's literally like a cheat stick once you get used to it.

  2. Yeah. Im out. 2 rounds and 2 range sessions. I just cant get the height on hybrid or 5 and 6 iron. My buddy swings about 10-12 mph faster than me and he does ok with it. I think its just a swing speed issue to get the height. I dont have it and probably never will. I really wanted it to work. Thanks for your insightful videos!

  3. just picked up a set of ai smoke HL. 5-aw. My swing speed isn't great mid 80's so was fitted for the High Launch all in graphite and regular….so far very nice and forgiving…👍🏌️😎

  4. I started experimenting with single length irons in 2018 or so with Wishon, then Cobra and then Pinhawk clubs. It has been a very enjoyable process. My current bag has 3, 5, 7, 9 single length fairway woods, 6-9 single length hybrids and single length wedges. They are all Pinhawk clubs. The fairway woods were kind of the game changer for me. This set has been very, very consistent for. It has made golf even more fun than it already is.
That said – I am in my late 60s and play around 100 rounds a year. I've been taking lessons from a PGA pro every winter for the last 7 or 8 years. I have no ego when it comes to what clubs are in my bag. My scores from 6000 yards or so are in the low to mid 80s. I'm happy with that.

  5. Get the TM Hi Toe wedge! I love heavier wedges as I let the weight do work on the touch shots. I had the Callaway PM grind but wore out the groves. I only have it in the 58 as it’s my pin seeker club 80 and in.

  6. Glad to see you went back to try the Ping Hybrids with the single length Cobra irons. If that combination works, go with it. Don't let anyone talk you out of CBX wedges, they were a game changer for me. I upgraded to the CBX2 wedges for 2 reasons, went with a 58° instead of 60° to go with my 54° and I loved the Black Stain finish. Shows some wear but still very durable. I'm still trying to piece together my bag setup between the driver and the wedges for this coming season. Probably have 3 options to choose from.

  7. Hybrids are for rock and block flippers. Those are definitely women's sneakers are you coming out Steve ? Your swing is not getting any better. Posture and takeaway need some work. Can't buy it you must understand and train it. I bet you even voted for killerery and kamala.

  8. I’ve been playing the Cobra One Length Hybrids in 3h,4h and 5h for a little over a year. The best way to think of them is as true iron replacements. The 5h replacing the 5i etc. In my hands, they are a one to one replacement for my irons in terms of yardage, just easier to hit.
I will be experimenting with a regular length 3h shortly, that is the one club where I feel I need more distance.

  9. No Brainer indeed! The click on that last hybrid was sweet. You can just tell that was great contact and going straight. Seems like your bag is taking form in a good way. Cheers.
