In this #tourtrucktuesday upload I go through the tech behind the new TaylorMade fairway wood, how you should test this club and the type of player that should be considering this head type.
I’ve gone with the 70G X KBS Prototype golf shaft and not moved off my standard tipping setting but more on that as the season develops.
This was a fun video to make and an easy club to get in the bag.

We want the new QI35 Fairway woods and hybrids. BUT, the issue is the color. Please use all your power to convince TM to release all the fairways and hybrids in black. They offer the driver in black but nothing else. My son and I have all TM clubs, always have, but he wants black and I do too. Any chance TM releases black for all the woods….and soon?
When will the fairway woods be available? I'm getting fitted on Friday

@trottie, any reviews for the 3HL?
TM fairways are always the best. It's always amazing to me to see how many non sponsored tour players have TM fairways in their bags. And how many TM guys still play older TM fairway models.
I was lucky to take early delivery of a QI35 3-wood and Driver just over a week ago. This is my first equipment change in 4 years and I absolutely love them both. The launch of both clubs just makes me smile and breeds confidence. I hit the 3-wood off the deck on a par 5, 260 yards from the green, and even though it was off the toe it carried 250 just to the right of the green. I can’t wait for spring to arrive in the UK.
Just got fitted for a 7W tour with a blue ventUS TR shaft. Would love to upgrade my 3w to the QI35. Trottie , would it be fair to expect a tour 3w when I get fit? Going to play it mainly from the tee .
