Yeah I don't know… personally I didn't care much for Ben Johnson or AG. I think the media did their part in over hyping them both because of the Lions' Cinderella story, whom a majority of folks had as the favorite to win it all. Quite frankly, even IF both of them were still available to hire today.. I'd take the Superbowl champion 10/10. It seems like patience paid off for the Saints, let's just hope Mickey Loomis can stay out the way as much as possible and let Kellen cook.
The greatest threat to Kellen Moore being successful with the Saints is the current GM. Correct me if I am wrong, 2-3 former Saint's players just won a Super Bowl with the Eagles. One player the current GM didn't want to pay and the other one the Saint's former head coach didn't know what he had. The GM position can make or break your team.

I think we hired the steal of this cycle. Kellen has a ring, something Brady, Johnson and Glenn couldn’t do.

OK, I think you need to come down to reality. They have several pics this year. It’s obvious that it’s time for them to let a lot of the older players go and get younger so why we keep beating a dead horse we have a new coach that just won a Super Bowl

ANYWAYS… new young offensive minded head coach that OC’d a team that won 18 games including a Super Bowl. Fact.
Won 50 games in college as a star QB. True it wasn’t in the SEC, but damn, there was a defense on the field in every one of those games. Fact.
So he at least has a proven record of winning football games. Can’t deny that. 50… wow.
X’s and O’s? Sure. But who doesn’t. You think anyone holds the secret to field an unstoppable offense? Smart players with an unstoppable drive for winning and grit would be a start. Need to draft more of those guys so we can afford good vets to come in and plug holes, not the other way around.
Leadership? As an HC? I guess the jury is still out until he gets some skins on the wall. But, not much else to put on a resume to deserve a shot.
What I like is he’s young and hungry. The effort will be there. It’s new and exciting. Nothing really to look back on as an actual head coaching experience. What’s to compare?
Emmit Smith? Yea, but Dallas forces the ball to superstars too much. Can see how play calling gets convoluted. May want to call one thing, but has to get the ball to player x or hear about it from Jerry and Mike. What can I say except “it’s Dallas”.
Time with the chargers? They’re the chargers. Wasn’t the best of times. If Kubiak is up for HC one day do you think he’d want his time in nola to come up? Probably not. Was it Kubiak’s fault he had to deal with an injured duck of a team and a lame ass HC? Nah… maybe get a pass.
Nothing left to do but hope the best for our guy. Hope Mickey made a good choice. Not much to lose.

Them other people weren’t offered the job. They posted that they were backing out after Mickey told them without telling them he was hiring Moore. He was the only guy offered our job. He’s the top guy. And also he didn’t have Justin Herbert in LA. It was Easton Stick. Herbert was injured.
I would look good calling plays for the eagles. They have a MONSTER team.

Now get the Qb right an we on track ethier sign justin, or trade for joe, from the pats or draft Milroe in the later rounds it need uh duel qb ta compete with rattler you just saw what kind of qb the man just won uh super bowl with thats the prototype now

Got to get Carr off the roster. He won’t be helpful to any young QB. He still thinks he is a starter in this league.
Moore.. good young coach. But.. hes really gotta make sure he stays away from trick plays and stop running every first down like he did in Dallas. His Offense in PHI has the best RB in the league. Can he get Kamara on point? With a NON mobile QB. He needs a Mobile QB for his O. So he will have to be creative.
If Staley becomes our DC I’m gonna legit cry real grown man tears
