  1. His head moves. He'll never make it… LOL
Actually allowing his head to move slightly, reduces tension, and allows for greater/easier movement.
Tension robs us of feel near/on the green, and speed from the tee.

  2. So much. How far out his club is taking it back. He has weight on his left at address. The angle of the left wrist at the top. There is no sway right or left. His shoulders don’t really come into play until the Claus is past parallel. The club head pointing at the sky at the top. The movement in the feet. The utter mess it looks like. But what a player and the result is amazing.

  3. He’s obviously playing a cut with the backswing going outside the target line. His head is slightly behind the ball at address and backswing. On downswing head starts to cover the ball until before impact his head goes further behind the ball.

  4. Slightly ouside takeaway is 1000 x better than way inside thats for sure. He loads fully before begining his lower body move. Thats fine. Notice the angle shape of his arms created in the backswing does not change at all as he uses his lower body then chest and shoulders to move into the hitting area. The arms do not activate at all until well into downswing & impact. That passive arm action allows him to slot the club perfectly. People get caught up on his bowed wrist but i really dont. Everything else is so strong, fast, athletic, and sound that the wrist is just a personal thing for him. He was largely self taught early on and the wrist is part of it. Most teachers dont recommend it however but i doubt they would tell dj to change it lol. But this view from up top proves the golf swing is a purely rotational effort. It proves that the arms swinging across the body is purely an optical illusion. Its a circular game. Circular and vertical not across. The arms actually swing very little. They fold up then unfold down and combined with the proper rotation appears as if we're swinging down the target line forever but its juts a millisecond in reality. Nice video.
